I love your videos man
Whatever they do I hope that they decide to go full action horror or full survival horror. I like RE8 a lot but it’s kind of a weird in between and I think it would be stronger if it was one or the other. And I like the survival horror and action horror equally.
Resident evil zero it doesn’t necessarily need a remake. I think code Veronica needs to be remade before resident evil 5 because the Veronica virus was part of the resident evil 5 story if I remember correctly, I will have to replay the game to be for sure. I’m just going by memory. Please don’t hate on my comment, but I believe Veronica needs to be remade next.

I'm very excited about Re9, but I still hope it can top Re8, and 6 it can, then it will be my favorite Re game because Re4r and Re8 are my favorite
I definitely feel the RE Withdrawls setting in. I have played every game over and over on ps5, but it doesn't fill the void and I think a lot of fans are getting it like we do. I can't wait to see a preview of the next RE.

Village was revealed at the PS5 showcase in June . But regardless I think unnerved had so much hype for a game that we don’t even know officially what is it about
In my honest opinion I don’t think we are going to get any type of announcement anytime soon especially this year. If I had to guess mid to late 2025 for any type of new resident evil news.

I think they wanted to wait for the release of DRDR so that a new RE reveal wouldn't take the hype away from it which makes sense. So a SOP reveal definitely makes sense with a October showcase.
I really hope silent hill 2 does really well because it will give RE competition I’m so tired of this action shooter now, it just fully needs to go back to horror roots.

Have re 9 connect what re revelations 1 and 2 left off and re 8 left off finish up all that story bring back jill, Barry, Chris, cliare all of that and do a dlc about what's to come for re 10
So not to be overly critical- most if not all RE's had multiple endings and cannon was disputed untl the next game arrived. I look at it kind of how MGS1 ended- MGS2 basically confirms the Otacon ending only for 7 years later for MGS4 to show both Meryl and Otacon survived.
Same with RE1 and REmake1. RE2 continued the story with Elza Walker before Claire was added after 1.5 was scrapped. RE3 was a side story but CV/X was the main sequel to 1/2 with two returning characters. 4 Became DMC and got scrapped countless amount of times.
I think your points are in the right place however, Blue Umbrella and the BSAA being evil (Rev 1) should be consideration points. I know in the Umbrella Chronicles for 100% completion or something, Wesker's VA mentioned he recorded lines FOR the game as a sort of Wesker in Hell scenario. I'm not sure how I would feel with Wesker coming back. I love the villain, CVX Wesker was like an evil Neo to me in 2000.
I would like a final send off to Chris Redfield for sure. Jill too.

The BSAA plotline just screams like another RE6. I doubt they are going with it if the game will be horror focused.
They better continue the BSAA plotline and bring back Jill otherwise I'll riot

RE was always about a perfect implementation of action and horror, which is why I think RE1 & 2 are still my favorites. It's a perfect union. RE7 felt more like an American horror film.
I think they have to go urban setting, we had 8 and 4 remake that had a village/castle vibe , if we get code veronica remake there'll be more of that. While I do like it I feel a change of setting is needed. It would make a lot of sense with the open world idea.
Whichever Resident Evil we get, I'm sure it'll blow our socks off.

I really hope for Leon and Ada to be the main characters or at least have Leon as a main character alongside another returning character and have Ada as a side character with a good formula between the mix of RE2, RE4 and RE7

What made Resident Evil great is it didn’t go with a full blown apocalypse. That’s a cliche that every zombie plot follows that’s gotten boring.

i actually loved re7's horrorfying/scary nature. but im definitely excited for re9 but the price of it is probaly gonna be like a 70-100 euro
All I know is the game better be 3rd person or I'm skipping it just like I did all the other ones that weren't 3rd person.
If I had to guess when it will be shown it would be at the Game Awards or 2025 because i know Capcom really want's to get that MH Wild's out first and a lot marketing is being put into that.
I have a theory
I bet resident evil nine will be a multi campaign series featuring Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, possibly Ada Wong and Jill Valentine
Now, what would Claire Redfield job be? The Revelations series hasn’t ended. and we saw Natalia had some kind of bad influence of Alex in the post credit scene. I doubt Capcom would leave a cliffhanger like that without using it and what game is similar to resident evil revelations 2 ? resident evil Village. I think Capcom is theorizing to see how would resident evil village do as a game that is similar to revelations 2 village was clearly a success so I think they would make Claire Redfield return and have her own campaign and explore Natalia’s influence or something maybe even Alex will be resurrected in Natalia’s body now, let’s remember resident evil nine to be a closing and an opening to a new story

As for Ada Wong, we saw the cliffhanger in resident evil six she was getting a call from a new job. What if this new job causes another apocalypse globally and Ada would be there to stop it besides people love her and I would think capcom wouldn’t miss the opportunity to include her they literally wanted to add her in village. What if they delayed her for resident evil nine for better writing
Now for Jill Valentine she hasn’t appeared in the spotlight since resident evil revelations one I’m talking about release dates what if Jill will have a partner and that would be Leon maybe that’s why Jill and Leon meet in death Island besides Jill is a fan favorite and people want to see her again
