In June 1944, Nixon was dropped into Normandy on D-Day along with the rest of Easy Company but the horrors of war impacted Nixon so much that he took to excessive alcohol consumption. This led to his demotion to S-3 when he became unreliable. His fondness for alcohol was an important theme in Band of Brothers though it is not seen to negatively impact his duties. His alcoholism was recognized by other members of his Battalion, but it was also accepted as they realized this was one of the few ways he could cope with the war. (Screen Rant)
An hour is not enough time for Nix to score anything. Heโs pissed.

Little does he know, he just lost the best thing he had, his dog.
It used to be Eagle Rare for me. Thank God I got off that crap
I genuinely thought that cpt. Nixon was Us president Richard Nixon. He had compatible age to have served in ww2 and when this came to me I started to see that the actor actually looked like a younger Richard Nixon. ๐
Oh shit Bane!
Moving out in an hour, to the next castle or chateau or something. Maybe some whiskey is there and the mailman
Sir, Shalom, Sir!

Tom hardy and Michael Fassbender are in band of brothers wild plus James McAvoy
Young Tom Hardy… and is that a younger Loudermilk?
Back when all these British Actors were still unknown lol. You've got Damian Lewis, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, and James McAvoy
I think the main line here is

THE DOG! ITS MY DOG
Alcoholism in war is crazy
Vat 69 is trash
Ive never seen a bottle of vat 69 is it really that rare?
"Listen…im having trouble finding some loud…"
300? "yeah". Yeah is NOT an affirmation ANY real SOLDIER would use towards an officer, it wouldn't be used militarily period!
Me and my guys just made field hooch ๐ ๐ ๐
What is so special about vat69? I prefer jack daniel over that whiskey.
You know when they found Hitler's bunker they said that there was over 6,000 bottles of different kinds of alcohol
anyone whoโs seen Ted Lasso, that mail clerk is being played by Jamie Tarttโs dad. Kieran OโBrien.
not as famous as the other Brits in this series, but quite a ubiquitous actor in british productions.
He should've made sure he was using the new coversheet on those TPS reports instead of worrying about whiskey.
