We're in for an interesting day… – 7 Days to Die (Ep.8)



The Sepdiurnal Virus is rapidly changing and the Red Moon Phenomenon now occurs every single night… In this playthrough I’ll be spinning a wheel to determine the difficulty each day (aka viral mutation/evolution). Some days will be easy, others will be very hard! And each day there will be a horde night. How long can we last before we’re overrun by the undead?!

Zombie X-Factors:
👉Head Shots: Zombies ONLY take damage from head shots
👉Screamers: Zombie screamers spawn more easily
👉Super Hordes: Wandering hordes will appear more frequently and contain more zombies
👉City Infested: Cities will contain extra zombies
👉POI Infested: POIs will contain extra zombies
👉EVERYTHING: All of the above will be active

  1. the double wall thing won't be a guarantee, when the Zeds AI goes stupid, they attack whatever is close. I've watched zeds carve through 4 thick steel walls because of forcing them to path around a base.

  3. I just relearned something, in this alpha I need to grow cotton for cloth for duct tape. Cloth of all things is a problem, but just one row of ten is catching me up a bit. In a previous playthrough I thought two rows of ten solved the problem completely.
    I got burnt on one of the weigh stations not able to spawn all the zombies in and got no complete. It was the one that blows up in the back and the yellow dot was in the underground blown up region but nothing would trigger it. Just before the blow up I saw a fire trap to be disabled but the explosion took it out and I wondered if turning off the fire trap was the missing trigger. Sigh.

  4. You probably already know this, but the zombies do the zig zagging when they're on the NE/NW/SE/SW diagonals. So if you're got a bunch lined up outside a POI it's useful to backtrack along a N/S/E/W direction cause they'll run in a completely straight line then.
