Post-ts Sanji becomes extremely annoying. Which used to be just an occasional pun becomes like his main characteristics suddenly. It goes on and gets worse where every scene with him is basically him acting a perv. Not sure what Oda was thinking, but overuse of anything, no matter how good, makes it unbearable. He ruined one of the best character by his own hands. Only redemption was his own arc. Rest is still awful

That is just so relatable, I'm not saying I get nosebleeds and be simping around girls, but I would be a hypocrite if I say I hate Sanji. We all have that too, it is just that Sanji let's his intrusive thoughts manifest. It's a genius move too from Oda, the exaggeration of Sanji's simpness will have a major turn of events later in the series.

honestly one of the most annoying plots in this anime ever during this arc. This is why sanji ranks low in my books, simpiote (symbiote) latched on this fool like venom. tsk tsk *spits

There is some lore in this arc, but the main antagonist and the pacing are so bad. I never rewatched this.
Sea kings are very important in this arc for certain reasons, and some of them are ridiculously large, like thousands of metres long

I think your content is very interesting and I really like it. I really hope the duration can be extended especially since the One Piece anime has so many very long seasons.

There's a lot going on here for an arc where not a lot seems to happen. TBH, the first viewing of this part of the story was lackluster, but for people with good memories and an eye for detail there is quite a lot of setup for later. Sadly, the full payoff comes during a revisit to the arc via rereads and rewatching it after getting more info from later on. It is still One Piece after all, and it's still good. Just not AS good as some other arcs… a few namedrops, flashbacks, and Robin actually sharing some of her vast knowledge here and there… maybe it's not so bad after all?
chopper should have shown Sanji his wanted poster lol that would stop the nose bleeding 😂
