On High republic costume design
Alex said he likes the golden High republic robes more than the more simple versions shown in the traileri, which is actually quite opposite of my own opinion. I was so relieved that they didn't go all the way gold & asymmetry in Acolyte because I really can't stand the high republic books & comics designs 😅 In my personal opinion it looks like they laid a basic fantasy filter on classic jedi design – sorry if it sounds a bit harsh. I also just am not a fan on intricate gold details in costume design over all so I was biased against them from the start.
However, they had very nice designs on the trailer. I especially liked the hairstyle they chose for Stenberg's character.

I'm sure you guys hear it a lot, but your positivity is so important to some of us. To sit and listen to/watch you guys show appreciation for the same thing I love really helps my enjoyment of Star Wars itself.

Lot of well-deserved praise is aimed at you guys in terms of positivity, but I don’t think it’s said enough how you’re also a healthy dose of actual REALITY. 😅
The toxic part of the fandom doesn’t just run on negativity and hate-clicks, it’s also fuelled by made-up bullshit. I genuinely think the passionate-but-level-headed service you guys provide is really VITAL to the fandom.
A fun, inclusive, informed and RATIONAL space like this is super important for when people finally break out of that toxic rage bubble or are starting to tip towards it.
Genuinely, having your channel to point to helped us steer an older family member away from the hate pit corner of Star Wars Youtube when they started sliding towards it due to the videos popping up in their recommendations.
