Well its definitely not like the first one | First time watching Twilight New Moon movie reaction

Badd Medicine here and its reaction time

In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful “Twilight” series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for

  1. I was actually in my mid 20's when I 1st saw these films. They were more of just a way to pass time to me. Now I'm in my 30's and see even more how exaggerated these films get. I enjoyed the deep comments you guys gave at the end. Y'all are sweethearts. It's been a lot of fun watching your videos. 👍

  2. This movie is a really good example of why men who pray on women that are under 25, and how bad it is. At 15-19 I'm sure so many of the women here loved these movies and had huge crushes on them. But then now with some maturity we can look back and see how toxic they are. It's why they keep pushing this "girls mature much faster" narrative that's way too complex to be put into such a simple phrease. When I went back to college at 28, I had a car, stable job, home and etc, so of course tons of freshmen girls were all over me.. and I just thought it was funny… it didn't matter that they were legally adults at 18 or 19, or whatever the legal consent age was, they were children… One corny poem, one "you belong to me forever" or whatever red flag quote and they'd "fall" for it.

But what shocked me the most is that literally every guy I knew was all, "woot lucky you! Tell me the stories!" like it was perfectly fine because it's "legal".

Imo at 18 a young woman is "legal" to find some independence, to explore with people her age, to mature in a safe environment as she transitions to adulthood.

I've seen so many women talk about the horrible decisions they made at that age when they lied about their age upwards because of these movies and thank god they somehow made it out alive >_<

(And yes, there's many male paralells of this, including the whole "they're ready to make the decision to go to war at that age").

  3. Personally, I agree with your opinions 😂 I watched all the movies in my early 20’s and my score at that time was is 4.0 because it taught me:
    1. NEVER get in those types of relationships (it was never cute to me and I kept taking sides lol😂)
    2. Treat your parents better cause damn Bella!!!
    3. Enjoy life while you still can cause who know what’ll happen the next day

What I hated the most about this film is the CGI in the last movie for a specific scene. I won’t say what because it will spoil the movie. But I remember yelling in the theatre about it.
And Bella’s father was my favourite character. He was the most realistic to me in every single film.❤ He should have gotten an award.

At my age now….my rating is lower but I’d rewatch it again 😊

  4. I really appreciate the way you guys discuss the movies after watching them and giving us your input and advice. I love that you're honest about how you feel and think, and that you're not just saying "this movie is shit, these characters are shit", but you're talking about why you don't like it and what should be changed.

  5. As a 31 year old who was a teen when these books and movies came out, I knew they were terrible. I also knew Edward and Bella were absolutely ridiculous. I would even laugh in the theater and those eye roll moments and my friend who I went with would get mad at me and hit my arm 😆 But I do have to say, I like the storyline with the Volturi and how they govern the vampires. The whole series is a cringey mess, but it’s still fun!
In my opinion the most cringey moments moving forward are going to be with Jacob 😆 there’s just something about him and his character that make my skin crawl.

  6. When i was 13/14 i LOVED this saga, i even read the books. I'm 27 now and when i watch it there's that nostalgia element kicking in but i can see it sucks hard hahah full of red flags, toxic and cringe as hell hahah

  7. Its totally not explained in the movies but the reason all the werewolves are shirtless is cuz they stay at 105 degreese all the time, plus they rip all their clothes whenever they get too upset. So no shirts and minimal pants makes sense. Them not explaining this makes it hella cringe like why are they all shirtless for no reason but it is a reason.

  8. Yall are gonna go crazy for the next one. I said before this movie is the worst out of them all worst book out of them all as well. It really does get so much better from here. Not less toxic but theres other stuff to distract you from the garbage dump of the relationship stuff.

  9. Fun Fact: The guy who plays Jasper (the weird staring guy) also plays Sokka on the live action The Last Airbender movie. Just so you guys know how bad it's that movie. It always cracks me up.

  10. the only reason the twatlight franchise was remotely viewable was because of jacob and the wolfpack…edward and his whole family are a bunch of tools…*except for rosalie, because she couldnt stand bella LMAO*

  11. guys i really love your videos and just wanna say that it's so important and thoughtful of you to keep the subtitles in the reaction. as a non-anglophone english speaker, it sometimes is very hard for me to understand the dialogues because they are mixed with what you say, or your reactions etc. Many reaction channels don't do that, so thank you <3

  12. A dangerous story? Stop….it is not….there are MANY movies and if people are smart enough to teach their daughters and sons about life then the kid will be fine watching this..nonsense

  13. Can someone let me know if their vids on Patreon require me to own / rent / stream a copy to watch a long? Or do they have it in their videos? I’ve seen it both ways so wanted to check before subscribing 🙂

  14. Just to give you guys some clarification before moving on to the next ones, when these vampires fall in love, they are mates for life. They don't fall for anyone else for the rest of their lives. So, Edward has never had a relationship like this before, let alone with a human. He's been craving for this love for a very long time, especially seeing his family be happy with their other half and him being alone up until this point.

  16. This is the worst one of the series for me. So slow paced, the fact that I hate how jacob behaves with bella…it's only good for the depressed Bella through the season meme scene.

Edit: I feel like The Answer takes this movies way too seriously lmao even we who are fans love to watch them bc they are so cringe and meme-ble. The battle scenes and the baseball scene are also really entertaining.

  17. I had a friend who wanted to date me but I never felt for him like that. He had moved away for five years and when he came back totally hot. He didn’t look too much different just a little more mature and dressed better. I had just got out of a 10 year relationship and decided to give him a shot. The way I let him know is after me, him and a few of our friends were partying at my house I said, “ I’m going to bed and you’re coming with me” as I put my hand on his shoulder. He had total whiskey you know what that night and felt bad that he ruined the one shot I gave him but I gave him another chance and he ended up being the best sexual partner I had up until that point in my life. We dated for 2 years. Moral of the story be more open to giving the guy in the friend zone a chance you might be pleasantly surprised multiple times. 😉😘

  18. Im enjoying your twilight journey so much! the movies are incredibly cringe and overdramatic with very corny dialogue… AND I LOVE IT, but i hate it at the same time. I think this is one of the only movie series that most fans are very aware what these movies, and that they have a lot of "toxic" relationships, but we still love them 😅😂
I laugh everytime i see you guys laugh and cringe at some of scenes or lines. Cant wait for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!
