Time is meaningless in the warp, so a strange futuristic chapter of marines with an ability that shouldnt be chronologically possible is a wierdly feasable.
I don't think there's a lot of lore for them, but the Sons of Anteus and the Death Spectres are my personal favorites.

Black Dragons are my absolute favorite Space Marine chapter. They've got awesome arm swords made of bone.
Personally love the exorcists and while they’re not necessarily strange I’m a fan of the Minotaurs. They’re just dicks and it’s kind of funny.

I think the warp ghost are one of the two unknown chapters2nd/11th. they are the ferryman of the warp. they guide people out of the warp (any human specifically). Saronos, showed humanity to even Abaddon. so I'd say they are still in a Astarte's mind set But so far down the road mentally from the warp. but the kicker they really are ghost and maybe one of the 2 unknown founding could have had an ability to truly enter another persons soul and thats why they were killed because fuck that. so them being ghosts now after death and with them being ghosts they can exist on any plain and thats why they have futuristic ships and stuff because they actually have been in the future. they also will not talk about what they come from becuase if found out they would beable to live in the warp anymore. and would stand no chance out in space due to small numbers. All of this is head cannon but sounds fun to run a converted chaos model army with loyalist rules and bash necron and other futuristic parts on to imperial ships and run them under ravenguard to have the ghost style rules. also think chaos model infiltrators would just be fun looking.

I lile the mentors. They go around the imperium assisting the imperivm training specual forces, strenghtening garrisons and using them to tip the scales galaxy wide. Reasonable marines without fanon.

Okay hear me out here me out I made my own custom Legion of the Damned for like non Space Marines and there's a few Space Marines as they're like, swords and stuff but there really is my own Legion of the Damned of death korps of Krieg soldiers
