Ive seen Weird Al in concert like 4 times and honestly one of the funniest most awesome moments of my childhood was him picking my mom out of the crowd at a state fair we were watching him at and he serenaded her jokingly mid set. After growing up watching my DVD of all of his music videos religiously that was a crazy moment lol. Glad he's had such a long successful career, man really is one of those rare celebrities you know you can support without worrying about how they are off camera. Creative genius and all around amazing guy!
It's straight up unbelievable how coherently he talks. Like, there's basically no "uhms" or "ahhs" or stuff like that. It's like listening to super high level professional whos is like, overly overjoyed to share his experience.
If you parody one of his parodies it becomes the original.
I think I actually FLIPPED when I heard Hardware Store mentioned. I know it's not a totally obscure song, by no means it is BUT STILL! Absolutely delighted by it's mentioning though! This whole video is a treasure!

I remember getting my first weird Al album in 2000 when I was 12 years old, running with scissors, and while I later went on to Date an Amish girl and Amish Paradise became my favorite song I will say man me and my buddy used to listen to Albuquerque while playing pokémon cards over and over and over and over at 12 and 14 years old and we loved every second of it I bet I still know all the words.
The story of Albuquerque reminds me of the story of Mike Oldfield's song/album Amarok, except the latter was a full hour long and existed mainly to troll Richard Branson.
According to Quantum Mechanics the movie is true somewhere.
