When I was a kid and we lived out in the country and ran out of milk my grandma and mom was substituted with can milk with a little water it made excellent gravy

Beautiful Fall colors here in the NW too! Yes to more canning videos. My mother in law pressure canned and it was scary to me, lol. I went and bought a canner and some half pint jars and made the Cowboy Candy. We haven't opened a jar yet so haven't shared except with our daughter who hasn't opened hers either. Anyway, I followed the instructions and some of my lids didn't "suck in" but when I touched the lids, the bubble went in and there is no "play" in it. I'll see when I open it I guess. Happy Early Birthday Wishes to you guys! Start with quiet time in the Word each day and be thankful to what the Lord brings through the ups and downs of life. First of all I would have to to add I love Pastor Bryant words of wisdom from the Lord that helps me so much thank you Pastor Bryant. I love watching you and your family get together and enjoy meals and also Miss Leslie when you make your biscuits. I gave my sister Susie your recipe for your two ingredient biscuits with the heavy cream and the self rising flour. she made them over the weekend and said she is throwing all of her other biscuit recipes out and she’s only making these because they were absolutely perfect and delicious
And she has been making biscuits for many many years and could never find the right recipe thank you so much. You don’t realize how much you and your family are a blessing to me I am so glad I came across your channel years ago thank you 😊
