Thought we’d show a bit more of the cooking that goes on at the farm for the doggies this weekend. Additionally as a Sunday treat, Luke cooked Lily the German Shepherd’s favourite dish in our household and also Luke’s Nonno’s recipe (tailored for the dogs) of spaghetti bolognaise.
This is not their regular diet, our dogs usually eat fresh meat and vegetables only, this is a special treat. Our dogs burn a lot of energy and it can be hard to keep weight on them. So occasionally we have to bulk up their diet with 3 meals in their day and a meal like spag bowl.
The dogs help Luke check that the drains are clear around the property after another heavy rainfall. They also help Luke check in on burn piles throughout the weekend, even into the night. The dogs love these adventures.
I’m a little late posting Friday’s video where we opened some parcels and thanked everyone, there’s a couple of the gifts shown in this video being used, for example a carrier for Kitty Rose. I just wanted to say thank you. There will be a video too.

Apparently a Gull Dong is a Pakistani Bulldog. Wikipedia says: The Gull Dong is a dog breed of India and Pakistan that is often used in dog fighting, hunting, and guarding.

OK, I’m Canadian and I loved your spaghetti for Lily, BUT— the amount of non-recyclable PLASTIC WASTE it produced for the planet from one little place on this earth, for 1 meal, was incredible! All those meat containers,esp. There’s gotta be a better way! More bulk buying? And then I watched u receive all those packages!!! Holy PLASTIC! Wrap for every little thing. OMG ! Where does it all go? Sorry, but I’m real conscious of all of this holy waste.

Shadow at the end of that feeding session, back in the kennel… I heard your'e looking to offload an extra dish of food. I will oblige you. So precious from start to finish.

Is anyone else craving spaghetti bolognese? 😊 You’re the best, Luke. It was such a labor of love to cook that great meal for the dogs. I was thinking as they we’re eating where they had come from and where they are now. It filled my heart seeing them being treated so well after their tough beginnings and being so content afterwards.

The dogs spaghetti bolonaise looked simply delicious and attested to 💯 % by the pack. Miss Violet never ceases to amaze me. 💜 She's a tough little girl. Adore Cutie Pie, she has such a distinctive personality – typical pug. All the dogs have individual traits that make them all so loveable. Hope is really doing well.

The cat back pack is hilarious. Kitty could walk with the pack. Hope's making great strides! Rosco and Freddo sitting by the pool gate was to adorable. Hope sleeping on the couch with Freddo is wonderful!

Freddo definitely takes his job seriously when it comes to the delivery guys ‘oh my days’ I looked up a Pakistani Bully wow they are big beasts 😲 what I did see with the pictures though alot of them seemed to be tethered & chained which is sad 😢

The Bully Kutta is the breed the delivery person talked about and they have aggressive ness to them! I looked them up!

I was so happy to see Hope becoming more social. Before her mommy passed away (stil have hard time even writing that) she would go over to her to console her. Now only from what is posted she is coming up to Sam more and staying w/pack more…

I had to look the Pakistani Bully up too. Magnificent looking dog (bit like Chance & Roscoe had a love child, but even bigger!) but it looks like it suffers from the same reputation slandering that all big dog breeds get, where humans treat it badly then are surprised when it become vicious. What needs curing is macho posturing, not the dogs.

hi all!! the guardians of the ingredients gave me such a chuckle! maggie and billie know where to be. the "repeat offenders" trying to get at the food is a hilarious. the look on lilys face is like shes looking at a miracle! KR in the carrier is like a queen on her throne. the kissy/nibble sessions are adorable – they all really love each other. love you all!! xoxo
In Italian cooking this is more of a what is called a ragu than bolognese. Bolognese usually has bechamel sauce but it looks really good!
I have also heard tomato is not good for dogs…is this true or untrue?
