There are probably only a hand full times that I can think of in my life when someone took over a character roll from a previous actor in a prior film or show that I watched growing up and did the character and my memories justice… Just to name a few, Henry Cavill as superman (no offense to Brandon Routh who was adequate) taking over from Christopher Reeves… almost everyone who played Batman after Michael Keaton was solid but I think I enjoyed Christian Bales version the best after Keaton… Ian McDiarmid as the Emperor from Star Wars is a little known one for non-Star Wars geeks…
And now, in my mind, Jenna Ortega has proven herself worthy after Christina Ricci.. I admit I was still skeptical even after Ricci endorsed her, thinking it was just a professional courtesy… That notion has been put to bed in my mind….

This show is a huge treat for long-time Addams Family fans.

This show actually surprised the crap out of me. I geard another Woke Netflix dumpsterfire, but god knows I am happy that I was wrong this time. Actually quite the good show. And this part of the episode surprised me as well. A dark and broody melody, perfectely showing the character of Wednesday.
For anyone interested Ciara also did a cover of paint it black. And two cellos does covers of the greatest hits out there including thunder struck by AC/DC and hysteria by muse. And If classical is more your style Lindsey stirling had two whole albums before she switched to christian music.
