One of my favorite things about watching multiple reactors for the same show is when just one of them picks up on small funny/weird things like you two pointing out how the one female cop is don’t in a rain coat or hat or umbrella but the chief is in a rain hat and coat😂
I loved that in the movies the supernatural aspect was, except with Thing and some relatives, ambiguous at best. Here they completely go for it.

I think the problem with the kids showing up wasn't that Wednesday couldn't take them down but because her and Tyler were in a hurry to leave for the train station AND also to hide from the principal who was looking for her, that would have probably cause commotion and put attention on her if she decided to fight them

Since you so labored the point about Wednesday's fighting capabilities, and why she would run when they were about to attack her again, wind things back a little. Her first encounter drew undue attention to her, foiling her original escape plan. The harvest festival was part of another escape plan, and fighting the hooligans again would have had her dragged back to school another time. She dropped those plans on her own because of her premonition and the ensuing confrontation.
Look up the original Addams family comic, Louis Guzman looks way more like Gomez then any Gomez before, but has the obstacle of media poisoning.
Same with Wolverine, in the comic books he's like 5 feet tall and when tough talking people make fun of how short he is.
If we got a more Wolverineish Wolverine the public will hate him after Hugh Jackman.

Gomez was always portrayed as charismatic and romantic.. hard to see that from Luis Guzman. But really loved this show… glad y’all are reacting to it.
Luis Guzmán is actually the most accurate depiction based on the original comics, and it's the first time this character been depicted accuratly, the old movies just Hollywoodized him
