  2. I don't know why I would presume that a U-Boat Commander would be more honest than a German general put this thing is full of misinformation. All you have to do is look up any of the claims that he makes about sunken boats on Wikipedia and you can see that 90% of them are false. There is a bit of room for misinterpretation of success but it seems as if more than half of the supposed sinkings never happened. Most of these u-boats spend most of their time hiding in the last year of the war.
