The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror are an iconic part of every halloween, where the simpsons parodies culture and different aspects of different aspects of the world. In the XXIII episode Thirty Third episode they made an amazing Death Note parody that is way too funny. Lisa is Light Yagami, Bart is L, Crusty The Clown is Ryuk and Marge and Homer Simpsons are Lights parents. The anime artstyle is sick and funny as hell. Say what you want about the later seasons of the simpsons but the last 2 seasons the writers actually put in effort again.
Like Mr. Burns being ok with smithers being gay for another billionaire, that episode that proofed despite it all homer and Marge are ment for each other, cbg and is wife's relationship is explored more, moe finally got married, and even though this season so far has been A parade of stupid meta jokes I can't help but laugh my ass off.
I'm glad the writers are putting in more effort.
