All zip ties r temporarily replacement. In some areas it can last almost 15 yrs plus. Never doubt the zip ties.. Best thing made for homosapians and duct tape.
The 300$ zip ties are for boat cable management and all of the cables in general
nylon is more tensile that tefzel thats the key to this experiment
Did all the expensive stuff come from grainger? Cause their markup is insane on products.
The 300$ better come with compliance certifications, proof of strength, insurances and a lawyer, because it is unacceptable if any fail for what ever reason.

Strength is NOT the reason you would buy the tefzel zipties. If the picture of the structure is accurate it forms polytetrafluoroethylene which is basically teflon. This, and many other fluoroplastics are resistant to oxidation, acids, bases and most organic solvents. These zipties would not be affected by fuel or engine oil, are resistant to sunlight photolysis and and completely water repellent. Good applications would be engine or fuel lines or marine environments. CAUTION: Never ever burn PTFE as it produces hydrofluoric acid which will doom you to a very painful death! Also avoid strong electrical currents etc (detach for welding) which can do the same. They have their uses and $3 a zip tie is actually reasonable given how difficult PTFE is to make. Source – me, a chemist.

You should've drilled into the tape. You can drill through masking tape, and it will stay together around the holes. I use masking tape as a template for metal parts that I need to drill into. Masking tape also uses a hydrophobic adhesive, so it can get moist and still stick well. It also has a high dielectric strength, which makes it good for electrical insulation.
Too fast, too hard, no lube wins the f/u trifecta w/that bit v wrench test.
Cheaper vacuum sucks

You are comparing cheap to less cheap probably not a good comparison need to step up the spending !! My company spends $450 for a drill bit set would love to see that comparison

Shop Vac Comparison: What size hoses where each shop vac using? What type of internal filter was each system set up with? What size tank were each vac using, and, how do different sized tanks affect the sucking?
I have that exact Bauer shop vac, paid $49 on sale, and can attest that it does work great.
