  1. I'm so happy that you guys love it! Do I spy a purple pillow??!! ๐Ÿ˜ Awe, let Wammers snuggle in the big bed. โค๐Ÿพ We love our heat pump, and it's great that they also have the dehumidifier feature. I'm allergic to everything, especially mold! ๐Ÿ˜ท ๐Ÿคง ๐Ÿคข ๐Ÿคฎ The lighting in that spot is great for video. Lenny is about to get a good tan, huh??? ๐Ÿค” I'm looking forward to what's coming next! Oh, and i love the kitchen table.

  2. Nice looking RV I really like it. And the 15 years that I lived in an RV in Washington, I never had problems with moisture from the propane heater the moisture is in the air and showering and cooking put a lot of moisture in the air.

  3. Congrats to you and Emma, I am looking forward to see your new daily adventures. I always thought that for both of you was better to have a trailer than a class a or c to move around the city to run errands or to do one day trips around Washington area. Best wishes!!

  4. The window shade swap was a no brainer! I'm guessing the manufacturer would have done that for you if you had thought of it and they could have just put the "exit" sticker on the other side. Glad it was an easy swap. Looking forward to what is next.

  5. The hardest part of living in a converted bus is that every where you look there is something to be worked on. A sense of completion would never been achieved. This is a done deal. Relax and enjoy your new home.

  6. Where is Lennie? Oops, you answered that question. In California the CARB rules and regulations will soon restrict Motor homes and busses as well as the trucks required to pull trailers, There are rules that require anyone with an emergency electric generator powered by any fossil fuel to be licensed. This includes equipment such as agricultural machinery, cranes, graders, lifts and boom trucks. By law each of these devices including all off road vehicles and equipment must have an hour meter which must be reported each year what dates, hours and reasons for use with a $5,000/day fine for errors, inaccuracies and jail terms for non compliance. This has me considering an RV just because they will be illegal. A new Greyhound bus sounds interesting. If the bus is owned by an LLC it does not have to meet these requirements. I am thinking of a new "Church Bus" for my congregation of rescue animals. If DOGE works I might not have to buy a new bus.

  7. Brand new subscriber here. Iโ€™m the chic with the 2023 5.0 named ๐Ÿ‡ ๐Ÿ•ณ๏ธ.
*Windows-I really like yours!!! We have the acrylic windows, but they are the previous style. Wonder if I could add the shades you have to ours. ๐Ÿค”

*QUESTION Temperature etc.-what are the temps and humidity levels you are dealing with right now? Weโ€™ve only experienced cold camping in ours so far. Thankfully our previous owners left a device that gives us temps and humidity inside and out. I just need to figure out when and how to be proactive with this.

*Oliver- About spit out my tea when you emphatically said, Oliver wasnโ€™t for you. Totally agree!!! However, I do think Bigfoots are pretty nice. Unfortunately they are heavier and longer than what we wanted. Also we donโ€™t need a four season camper.

*Solar-Iโ€™m really interested in what you have and what you are going to do. Ours came with 100ah Li battery, one panel on the roof, along with the rest of the Escape factory solar setup. We need to dry camping to figure out if we need more and if we do, exactly what do we need.

*Table-Our Lagun table IMHO is too big and kinda a pain to figure out. I am wanting to make it either round or a bit smaller. So Iโ€™m staying tuned for your table mod also.

*mattress-We and a lot of others have found the Escape mattresses fairly comfortable. Now the one in our popup was THE VERY FIRST thing I fixed after our maiden voyage.

The biggest project I hope to do someday is to redo our kitchen. I DO NOT want the 3 burner stove oven combo. So changing the countertop, adding a 2 burner stove, larger sink, popup outlet, wiring under counter for micro/convection oven, and door. Then I want to paint all the lower kitchen area navy. I have been dreaming of this, and then I saw you all do a walk through of one at the factory and ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿคฏ that was my confirmation.

  8. Did you not get the 4 batteries package? I looking at one for 78k. I wanted an Oliver because their factory is in TN instead of WA and much closer to AR but they want double for a similar RV. You can add a relay to get better charging out of the 7 pin on your truck, and get a decent charge on long trips this way. You can get 630ah lithium in the Oliver.

  10. Don't you have an 3kw inverter in Lenny? you could hook it to Graham and charge on the AC input, at about 20-25 amps.

I am very torn between trailer and a old rv. A trailer yes you don't lose everything but your overall length is longer which makes parking annoying and tight spaces a challenge, but all together means you can use the space and drive in quick succession or at the same time(if needed)

  11. what about using your solar bank portable system to charge your trailer batteries?? that solar on your truck could charge that portable one during the day and at night the portable could charge and run the trailer.. you like modifying so you can reverse the 30amp from being on the outside to the inside so that portable can plugin and you don't have worry about someone stealing it at night. during the day you can put that portable one inside the truck and run the solar panel cable into the truck via windows or some other way maybe.
