It’s crazy to think we spent less time in each age. We’ve been in the fossil fuel age for maybe 150 years being really inclusive. And it already starting to wrap up. Meanwhile we spent 1000-2000 year in the pre modern post antiquity era. Before that we had a 3-4K year bronze is kind era. Before that iron was the shit for around 8-12k years. And the stone was killing the game for 130k years. You can try to divide antiquity and classical, but practical tech wise it’s not much different. It’s more of social developmental differences.
