It sounds ridiculous, but could bombarding Mars be the best way to terraform the planet? The only, somewhat, feasible way of getting enough gas into the Martian atmosphere may be by bombarding it with comets. It would also give it enough water for proper oceans.

Humans are a planet ending virus. We must destroy them Before they spread.
Turns out earth is angry enough not to be hospitable enough for humanity now
A few large ferrus meteors would also help, adding heat to the mantle, getting some magnetosphere going.
This sounds crazy, however, with some merit. It’s not impossible to try this at least once as a feasibility study. It is one of the theories of the early earth after all.
