The gote is Swedish, nothing else🥰 An old tradition in Sweden.
Do they have the town market when it’s not Christmas?
He said "Auf Schweden" which means "from Sweden" 😅 It's a traditional Swedish Christmas ram (not goat lol). It's a really old traditional piece, you'll find it in most homes. If you visit the town Gävle, you'll find a gigantic straw ram that they build for Christmas every year.
They say that’s straw figure is from Sweden, not Austria.
So jealous! What a wonderful trip! Is it wrong that I was as excited for the food as the thrift finds? I'm German and grew up eating all those wonderful things! My grandparents came to the states just before my dad was born. Thank you for sharing!

I am a walker- I walk at least 8 to 10 miles each day. I am so curious how many steps you get in on a daily basis during your travels. I bet it’s close to 20,000 a day, if not a lot more. 😊

There was a beautiful carnival glass bowl next to where you put down the cat with the broken tail. I know it’s not your thing though. The GREEN Bitossi was amazing! I love the blue but I didn’t know they made green pieces. Stunning! ❤
