  1. all ff games are about near if not full apocalyptic situations, they're known for there characters dying tragically and usually taking down major corrupt power institutions adding gore and uncensored curses just makes it more western

  2. To clarify something about the Frames Per Second issue, I would like to quote BltzZ comment in Maximillian Dood's video:

"The build we played for this open zone was in fact older and locked to 30fps during exploration and does raise up in combat. Which you already mentioned. But in the final build its for sure 60fps in the zones. Yoshi P showed us this in the zone exploration demo for PAX East a few months ago. Hope that helps some understand a bit. I was getting questions on my video and they directed me here".

  3. not stressed about playing Zelda at all, it's my comfort game at this point and I know if I put it down for awhile I know I'll come back. Super hyped for some dope combat in FF16, only mark Zelda misses imo

  4. none of the FFXVI trailers/deep dives so far have interested me at all, i just feel nothing watching them, but knowing the XIV team is making it, i'm gonna check it out anyway.

  5. I've been asking for a feature in games like the Active Time Lore feature for a while. I'm an older gamer. I can't remember what I was doing in a game after a break of a few weeks for adulting.

  6. I am not a huge fan of the Interactive movie part tbh, I enjoyed Final Fantasy 7 remake but couldn't finish it because how start and stop the pacing is because of constant cutscenes. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy does a great job in that aspect IMO.

  7. Looks beautiful but I'll be concerned about the combat until I can try it myself. I love turn-based games, and i also enjoyed FFVII Remake, but I'm not a fan of action games like Bayonetta and DMC.

I hope Tim's prediction of a demo dropping soon is accurate!

  8. FF returning to basics finally… 😭❀ fantastic story, gameplay & music! I adore DQ11 & Tales of Arise cuz they doubled down in what made their franchises fantastic and i am so happy yoshi p and the team knows what makes an amazing ff!! So excited, the game isn't just DMC5 , its more restricted with RPG elements which i am happy it does have, its not just 100% action with no limits like DMC, then again the game combat designer is the one who designed DMC5 combat πŸ˜‚β€
