  1. Weird decks ?
Besides the Kenrith deck, which one is different from what the commander is supposed to do ? The Jeska deck multiplies damage, the Orthion deck plays ETBs, the Varolz deck just plays big power.

TDLR : 3 of the 4 decks are what EDHREC recommends, meaning what the majority of players play. What is weird there ?

Besides the false advertising, well, it's a regular game.

    Respectfully, from France.

  2. Aside from the deck Rachel played with, nothing here was particularly different or weird. Kenrith Monarch was very disappointing to see. The Tymna deck was predictable. Mono red didn't go anywhere after the big splash. The only interesting deck was the one that won. Curious!

Regardless, the format of playing Patreon's decks was great fan service and I hope to see more of this in the near future!

  3. I have yet to see any comment mention this card in the game play:
Void can target another player; especially one that has more cards in hand to see what they are up to, so it can serve a double-purpose of "one sided" board wipe and reveal another player's hand to see what he or she is up to. I would have targeted Rachael over Jimmy in that moment, and potentially pick a number other than zero. Take this with a grind of salt.

  4. Cant wait for the next episode of fan submissions! Love when channels do this type of thing, always my favorite types of episodes to see the kinda stuff others cook up but have the people of the channel run the decks and find new stuff they like or have a totally different experience than their used to. Just another great way to bring the community together ❤ great decks all and very great episode! Was a blast to watch

  5. There is a lot of comments that hate against how Jimmy is treated but one of the best moves in Game Knights was done by Jimmy against Josh, at least in my opinion it is, where throughout the game Jimmy keeps asking Josh what his deck size is and is able to mill Josh out of the game. This is even brought up in the last Game Knights Live I bbelieve, and mark had to "save" Josh from the alter. Jimmy out of all the game Knights games, yes Jimmy wasn't in all of them, Jimmy was only missing mana drops around 20 episodes, and that is early land drops as once you get past a certain amount of mana missing land drops isn't that bad becasue the game might be over soon. Now I'm sure the Command Zone play a lot more games off camera, as they have mentioned before so the comment that missing land drops is the most Jimmy thing every, besides taking himself out, might come from those games as well. I respect Jimmy in the way he likes to play Magic.

"Josh, how many cards your have left……"

  6. One of my favorite things about early episodes of Game Knights was the interactions of Josh and Jimmy during the post-game interviews/confessionals (whatever they’re called); I hardly knew anything about magic but I could tell everyone was having a ton of fun. I feel like this episode has some of that same energy with the constant references to the editors, to Murph, and some of the goofiness during the interviews. 👍🏻

  7. Wait, wait, wait, isn't the Smaug plays ilegal?, I mean, legendary/legend rule, "If a player controls two or more legendary permanents of the same name when state-based effects are checked, that player chooses one of those permanents and immediately puts the others into their owners' graveyards, without any player having an opportunity to respond. This does not destroy the other permanents, does not cause them to be sacrificed, and cannot be prevented by being indestructible or having regeneration".

  8. I've got 2 decks off the top of my head that are weirder than these. A Wernog/Elmar 4 color deck where all creatures are monogreen, all instants are mono white, all enchantments are monoblack, all sorceries are monored. Artifacts are colorless. No multitype cards, so no artifact creatures, etc. I did allow myself to be able to use off-color abilities, so elves that can tap for other than green.

I also have a Jodah All Legends Randomizer deck. 55 cards are the core cards: lands and cards that help push the deck forward. The other 45 cards come from a Legends pile that currently sits at 2300-ish cards. I have each opponent randomly select 15 cards from the pile.

  9. Since there's a UNIQUE deck, and an ALL BLUE Commander. . . I wonder if they will do a 32 Commander challenge where each commander is the exact same Color/color combinations.

    That would be cool.

  10. Aw man. Makes me wish I was a patron: You'd love my "oops all artifacts" deck that has no creatures or colored mana. It doesn't even produce colorless mana, just generic. Shame. It wins hard, probably a little too much for this table anyway.
