  1. Hopiang Baboy (Pork Hopia) -sweetened caramelized white onion cooked in pork fat. Cannot really taste the onion because it's almost pounded into a paste

  2. If she said the hopia is made from onions, then it could be "hopia sibuyas". Sibuyas meaning "onion" in our local dialect.
There are a lot of varieties of hopia fillings especially in the Visayas and Mindanao area, we have hopia sibuyas which is very popular in West and Central Visayas, and the Mindanao areas, hopia ube, durian, mango, monggo (hopia with mung bean paste filling)… the list goes on.

Hope u & the family enjoy your holiday in my beautiful country. I've never been to any island & I would love to see also Siargao.

  6. You2 look like bodybuilders ❤️ Abundant yummy healthier foods! It looks like Siargao is the perfect island fit for you 💚 I’m sorry though that it rained during your stay. March is the start of summer which is dry season in the 🇵🇭. It probably is due to climate changed. I truly enjoyed this video 💙

What is the name of the store where you went shopping? It looks like they have nice selections of things. Is it an expensive store?

Wow Malia can surf 🏄‍♀️ She’s a very quick learner!

Banana cue is some of favorite snacks of Filipinos 💛 Turon same wrapper like lumpia. Same banana with jackfruit inside. Hopia is a flaky pastry and comes in different variety of fillings. The one you had is cooked white onion that has been previously infused with pork fat. The two most famous fillings are ube and monggo.

Take care you all gorgeous fam 🥰
