There are just no worthy and honorable GOP adversaries any more. It makes me wish I was around when Thomas B. Redd (R-ME) was SotH from 1889 to 1891 and from 1895 to 1899, respectively. Look him up if you don't know who he is. There's a great chapter on him in the book "The Proud Tower", by Barbara Tuchman.

McCarthy’s boring vanilla aspect is actually my biggest concern. Because he’s so boring, it’s seems almost intentional that he’s been place in the position he has because he’s so unassuming. Makes me think of the ragtag group of losers and aristocratic misfits that overthrew Germany. No one thought a group of dorks would have the audacity. But if we’ve learned anything in the last 3 years, is how deep the dark side of seemingly insignificant men can go and the shocking things they can do to wreak havoc on society.

On February 4th Lifetime tv is featuring "Starving For Salvation" the story of Gwen Shamblin! I enjoyed you and Jens take on this whacked out "prophet" who recently died in a plane crash. So when I saw the trailer I got all excited! Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing fame plays Gwen and it looks so good, exposing her insane ed take on a stairway to heaven. I hope you guys havd time to watch and give a review, I know you both are very busy but just wanted to request😁

They're not on tv but they're in the public eye recently as their son Enoch (yeah, I know) was in contempt of court. Their whole history is a can of worms as the family keep getting in trouble for various things, they ran a Christian society at an Irish university and mismanaged funds, they protested at Galway Pride, one of them for sacked because her mother kept turning up to her job…
