Dragon Quest monsters is my favorite franchise by this company
As someone who played monsters more than pokemon, cause it just was more fun, of course I'm gonna support it
I really do hope this game does well. I’d love to see more DWM/DQM games here in the west. The originals just hold a special place in my childhood
I legit sold my copy of Pokemon Violet yesterday.
Pretty much excited for DQM The Dark Prince.
I'd consider supporting this game but it's not on PC.
Having played all of the DQM I will be getting the third for sure. It bothers me a little that it is releasing only on the Switch though, like Pokémon does. Probably too much to hope for a Steam release but it's all whatever. DQM is a great franchise that deserves recognition.

The DQM games are one of me favorite series and alone the first one was so good at storie and i like the moster designs some monster looks so stupid xD.

I've been a long time fan of the Pokemon & DQM series.
But we need a Great option to fill in the gap. Last recent Pokemon game release I enjoyed was Legends Arceus.

DQM is my favorite monster taming series. I think they are overall much better games than Pokémon and I routinely go back to play all of them on emulators. I would love to see this game succeed and encourage future games and maybe some translated ports of the 3ds games. I would also love to see Pokémon have to make a great game again because another big brand was coming for their market share

Im new to the "monster taming" community but old in the Pokémon community, Im trying my best to support new and interesting monster taming games… As much as my wallet allows me to do 😅
If it was multiplatform I definitely would. I don't like playing RPGs on a Nintendo console after the 3DS. My personal preference. Square honestly need to treat the series like they are final fantasy and make them multiplatform.
I don't support Pokemon games in the same way I don't buy most monster taming games. The majority just are not visually appealing, which is one of the biggest factors of the genre, and then gameplay needs to be interesting and stand out some, which is difficult for turn based games as strategies for turn based games end up very clear pretty quickly. Even RTS games, it's mostly who can do something faster and less about strategy. Gaming is just in a rut as far as content is concerned, and it's going to take time to find more interesting ideas, but in niche genres which need to be appealing, have lots of content, and interesting gameplay, it's a very tall order.
What makes pokemon sell is not quality. If that were the case stuff like Cybersleuth would have blown it out the water.

Been playing Dragon Warrior/Quest games since the 90s – cannot wait for the new DQM game – I hope it is a great game and sells well
One of the first monster taming games that I played was DQMJ2 however when I found out the there was an expansion alongside several other dragon quest monster taming games being only in japan I was a bit upset due to DQMJ2 being such a good game with enough content to keep me playing.
I saw the trailer and I was like "take my money!!"
I'm going to preorder that game when it's possible! I have loved the DQ Monster franchise since Joker and played the main line game to almost completion. Wish it came out sooner!
If I had money I was willing to spend, I'd definitely buy this (Tho I'd have to play DQ4 first since this seems very related to it).
I enjoyed all the DQ Monster games, Joker 1 and 2 were amazing. I'll definitely be grabbing this game as an avid Dragon Quest and monster tamer fan.
