  1. Pickle 'em…google Korean turnip recipes. I make mine sweet & sour with ginger, juniper and star anise. Packed in glass jars (no need to heat pack them) they will last in the fridge for weeks…but ours never last that long! Yum

  2. Stephanie.. I've been watching from the beginning when Gerry had the broken toilet seat he was fixing hahahaha. I've gotten behind here or there due to health reasons. But I think I am finally caught up. Anyways, all that just to say, that I am very happy that you and Philip have found each other. He brings a lot to the chateau and to your life. It is so wonderful to see you just so over the moon happy!
Also, Thanks to you, I think I have finally discovered a way that I might just actually like turnips lol. But when you were washing them, all I could think of is that here in the South in the US, people would shudder to see you throw out the tops. People absolutely love turnip greens. Personally, I think turnip, collard & dandelion greens are gross, slimy & repulsive. lol.

  5. Love the Lamps Philip has. I was lucky to find Brass Lamps in a Charity Shop. I restored them and installed LED Bulbs. They have a New Life in the Living Room & Dining Room. Good Luck With The New Heating. Good Wishes from Ireland ☘️. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

  6. Philip, your table settings are always great.
But, if you allow me, a piece of advice: never use candles for lunch/during day light. Only for dinner. During lunch candelabra must be removed from the table and substituted by flowers or porcelain ornaments. Avoid silver also during meals on day light (breakfast and lunch).
Love for you all from a former protocol officer.
    Alvaro.
