  1. The run away thing is universal, and its not cuz it gets sleepy, but because it can't reach you.. If any creature cannot reach you, it will run away as a self defense/false security creating mechanism..

    They implemented it in ASE (I guess as a test or before knowing they was gonna re-release instead of upgrading) not long before ASA dropped..Thats also why trapping a carcha with gates stopped working..

    There are actually a few mechanics changes to ASE towards its end that not a lot are aware of, cuz they ditched ASE all together..

  2. Use pillars to make a pen.. Can just free ball the distance between them and then just pillar up to the surface.. doesnt have to be a large pen for now..

    Edit: also, why dont you just base up on that island at the end of the vid? You have plenty of resources and its peaceful.. (at least by the end of the episode..You could make a new hut there and a raft, and go pick up your current base and tames..

  4. From what I can tell that cavern isn't an artifact cave. There are two other entrances, one is a hole in the back of some ruins and the other is in the jungle. There were a couple of drops in there but otherwise it was pretty uneventful, got some dung beetles tho lol 🪲💩

  18. so he had to restrain him self from singing the baby shark song which im glad as i HATE that song . but why and how did he stop him self at 33:19 from singing the "just keep swimming" song? when ever any of the boys says that something deep down in me wants them to sing it. lol

  19. The whole time you were walking around the cave without seeing any creatures I was like "CAVE BASE?" Pity about the spiders, it would have been so nice and sheltered with room for most smaller land tames and probably everything up to a basilo for water ones. But then I love me a cave or ruins base.

    I think if you can get home okay you might need to build a water pen before taming another dolphin since everything in the area is so aggro. Even if it's just a temporary one.

    You’re absolutely right. Nothing you can do. If only there was some sort of way, from a distance, to make creatures stop fighting and then tell them to go to a location that was safe. Like, some combination of, I don’t know, whistles or something. That’d be pretty handy to have in the game. Maybe someone should reach out to the devs.
