Hi everyone! I know with the previous election cycle, we’re all a little bummed and going through it at this moment. I want to remind you all to take this time to grieve and to cry. Things are not over. WE are not over. We still stand today, and we will stand through the hatred and bigotry that is heading our way. Know that you are loved, you are not alone, and you have community. Community is going to be super important during, and be sure that you are active in queer spaces online and in person. We’re not going to get through this alone, and we shouldn’t have to go it alone. Always be sure that you take breaks when you need them, and give yourself the time and space that you deserve. I look forward to seeing you thrive after all of this and seeing that wonderful face of yours. Much love from Fox Mom! 🦊💜

Thank you @Lunazera for joining me and reacting to some memes from r/WitchesVsThePatriarchy! It was a lot of fun hanging out and just chatting about various topics. I hope we can do more like this in the future. :3 If you are reading this, and you don’t know who Alice is, fix that right now and go watch her stuff. She has been an inspiration for this channel, and someone that I have studied when it comes to making content and being a streamer. We owe it to her for being an amazing lovely bean.

Thank you to my friend Merksy for lending her png as well for me to use in this video.

I do stream over on Twitch as a purple fox addicted to coffee and runs a little cafe! I mostly play Valorant, but always love chatting about various topics. I try to keep the vibes cozy and comfy, with a little chaos mixed in. Feel free to stop by and lurk if you would like!

  1. To the coffee conversation: I've been telling the people I know that the local shops have some really good coffee for years! Now I think two or three roast their own beans, and I always get the breakfast blend from the one in particular to make at home!

11:14 I was in a campaign where my character was reincarnated from an amab Goliath fighter to afab Shadar-Kai via the spell. The guy who cast it tried restoration or something to try to "fix" the depression caused by the newfound connection to the shadowfell, but we ruled it just became less of an upfront thing. He was still generally upset with the changes in general (not just agab stuff, but being less buff more agile), and I've decided if I run that character again after a time skip he'd basically be transmasc, but it was just no longer a distraction from the very important task at hand.

I'm also currently running the actively-repressing-trauma character Alice suggests immediately after that! He was supposed to process it with the character who caused it but forgot in backstory, but the character he was supposed to process with died by stupid so it's just getting worse and more on fire. Lots of fire.

32:49 I find when I fall out of some of my habits I end up developing new ones instead. I might stop the old habit for practical reasons, or it was there because I had a need I no longer have. (I realized typing this out my habits are still mostly the same, but the specifics have changed. I just want to sort of leave that in to show where my mind was going at the time) As a recent example I can point to specifically, for the longest time on Sundays I'd go to the gas station across from work to get a coffee and something to eat later because the local coffee shops I'd otherwise go to are closed on Sundays. Recently we had a bit of a management change at work. One of the things the new GM started doing was bringing in breakfast for us on Sundays, so I don't really need to get something to eat. That opened me up to start going to one of the drive-thru coffee places that doesn't really have a food menu I could find, so I started going there instead. My pre-work coffee ritual is still there, it's just shifted a bit to account for new circumstances.

i mean depression is an illness, technically there are spells in dnd which arguably should have to be able to cure it (heal, mind blank), though it's likely more like a persistant curse (which could be cancelled or its effect reduced with a restoration spell), and would need curing in regular intervals…

  3. "does healing magic cure depression?" I've seen this question answered exactly once… In Frozen. And the answer there is no. "The heart is not so easily changed, but the head… Can be persuaded"

  4. As far as i can tell, depression is a debuff and therefore falls under the category of negative status effects.

That means purification magic surely could clear up our depression and possibly even dysphoria.
