  3. My Lovely Wife doesn't lose in edgyness. Of the dark, psychological horror kind of edgy, I mean. Or My Lovely Daughter from the same studio. Also looking forward to their upcoming My Lovely Empress creature collector game.

  6. Honestly, these monster sprites look like they were taken straight out of a Ruby/Sapphire romhack. I like them quite a bit!

    I'm gonna have to take a look at this for the hell of it- and here I thought Monster Crown was trying too hard to be edgy with its heavy-handed messages of corruption and the occasional swear word.

    The 🔪edge🔪 is overpowering, god it's so ⬛DARK⬛ in here!

    But for real, I've lost interest in the pokemon fan games that show a lotta blood and killing. Even as a 14 year old the nonsense was eyerolling. Just death and sharpness so they can constantly scream in your face "HEY LOOK! THIS ISN'T YER CHILDISH POKEMON ANYMORE!! LOOK BLOOD! SO GROWN UP AND ADULT!"

    Give me a break. This game has pikachu in it. Come on now.

  11. Yeah, nah. I'm gonna have to pass on this one. The pixel art style is just not my cup of tea. And let's not even get started on the monster designs, they're pretty underwhelming too.

  17. I gave it a try but no animations, sloooow combats and… interesting storytelling rebuked me quite a bit
    Honestly it’s not even on the level of a romhack, and it’s outrageously pricey too…
