The Giants ending the Patriots undefeated season in the Super Bowl is the lasting memory from the 2007 NFL Season. But what else happened? Devin Hester broke his own return record. Philip Rivers played on a torn ACL. Adrian Peterson set the single game rushing record as a rookie, and Brett Favre played in his final season in Green Bay.

  1. Rigged era football? Not even close. 1984 & 1985 are the two best years of football at all 3 phases ever played. 1984 Marino and Montana ran the table & 1985 the Bears swept the nation and America loved it.

  2. “Tom coughlins face became literal red skin. That’s the real reason Washington had to change their name” – as a giants fan I was dying 😂 😂 😂 it’s so true. That mama face would get so god damn red. I miss him 😞

  3. As a life long Patriots fan I am still traumatized by that 2007 superbowl we we're so close to going undefeated smh bt I can sleep at night because of the comeback we had on Atlanta

  4. It ended up being a double-whammy for my oldest brother. He had to watch his division rival knock off his team in the Divisional Round and his other team in the Super Bowl.

I'm glad I wasn't as big a Patriots fan I would go on to be. If it was the version of me from a couple of yrs later, Super Bowl 42 would've been beyond devastating.

  5. Seems like a good and interesting video, but as a Pats fans, I nope’d right out of here about a second in when I realized it was 2007. Enjoy the video everyone. ✌️

  6. Yeah I remember almost every inch of the 2007 season. As a Giants fan I vividly remember the first two games Cowboys Packers. Then came that Washington game where we stuffed them on the goal line for the win. 6 game win streak. I also recall watching the NFL's first ever NFL UK Game when the Giants faced the Dolphins. I recall Eli's touchdown run in that game. Only two games I missed that year at least Giants wise was the WEEK 17 Finale vs Pats and that playoff game versus Cowboys. the Packer game was one of the best Ive ever seen in terms of keeping you on the edge. And of coarse SB42 furthermore made me bleed blue forever. That Jags win over Steelers was one of the best things as well seeing a Florida team kick their ass in the snow 😂

  7. 5:52, one minor note here. It was McCarthys second year in Green Bay, not his first. Mike Sherman was fired after the 2005 season, thanks to an awful 4-12 record.

Edit: Love the video though. Keep up the great work!

  8. I am a Packers fan and I can definitely say watching that Giants at Packers game live at home… That Favre throw for an Interception is still vividly planted in my brain lmao. This entire season was a wild ride for sure
