  1. Great job! Might be boring for you but when you look at the finished ceilings you'll get such a satisfied feeling when you remember 😊… "see you next Tuesday is something completely different"! 😂😂😂😂
I also agree with other comments for you to consider floor tiles (maybe flags if compatible with under floor heating) instead of wood and a big old table instead of island.

  2. Make a list of electric things you might use every day (or almost) and allow permanent worktop space. E.g.: Kettle, coffee maker, toaster, sandwich/waffle maker, liquidiser, mixer etc. Or get your clever carpenters to magic a cupboard which has some of them easily accessible to use without moving them. A friend had a roll up front on a cupboard with all that stuff behind it to use in situ.

  3. Please consider that your kitchen floor needs to be very water resistant so if you're using real wood and a stain, it will also need something to seal it. In fact all of the areas that might get wet will need the same treatment. Love the videos.

  4. One thing I'll say is personally, with our new kitchen and our 2.4m 900w "breakfast bar"….my pet hate is when people put a sink in the middle of a beautiful big island. You lose all that space for entertaining etc. A sink is better up against a wall, looking out a window if possible – not taking up space and ruining the look of an expensive bench (counter top). I don't get the obsession with sinks on an island.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing your beautiful kitchen.
