  1. I absolutely love your enthusiasm. I loathe some of those nonsense shows (e.g. the ever repetitive partial episodes that are milked by 'Aussie Gold & Opal Hunters') where they have a crew pull out a massive dose of gold and they take like two minutes to weigh out what they've got, even though they clearly already know, and then at the end they moan about how little they have because it's only 75 ounces or some such bollocks, it is wonderful to see people like you guys get enthusiastic over what you find. And yeah, I get that you're a hobbiest but it's insulting to the viewer of those shows when you can clearly see how the crap has been edited.
In other words, good for you. Thanks for sharing what you do and in an honest way.

  2. Instead of carrying buckets why don't you get 25 pounds flour sacks and mark them with specimen number, and location then to put your dirt in and put them inside of a back pack to carry down to your truck between the 2 of y'all u should be able to carry out 150 pounds of dirt each in one trip

  3. Young gold. That has disseminated in the bedrock that's now clay. As dig to far into the rock and it will turn back into a vane of the local size gold. Seen it in Alaska watching some guys work a spot. Thought they'd hit the mother load. But did't last the day before it ran out. Heard later that they went in big on it and also lost big. Because it was in the sulfides traveling down the bead rock that formed it. And I also have a strong belief that gold can go back into solution from leaching sulfides that well up in the deeply buried bedrock. Inside where the rock turns to muck.

  4. Yo mon, how about a cup of water in Stampy, cut the dust down , hell its going to get wet anyway πŸ˜‰ Way less dust, if any, might settlle the heavies lower too, dunno, just a fan of finding treasures, natural or not. I am a fan of lots of prospecting/mining channels and am always concerned of the dust people breath in, please look after your lungs folks!

  5. I know it costs an arm and a leg to file a claim in Australia, how much would it cost to file the claim for that location and the claims around it just to make sure you're covered and that you can exploit the heck out of it?

  6. When he said that about his neighbors that’s the first thing I thought of when he started the machine . If you where my neighbor you would start that at 6 am even though the neighborhood code is no machines until 9 but we have new neighbors who live mowing the lawn at 7 am come on dude don’t wake my wife we will have issues lol

  7. Thanks so much. It’s the best video I’ve seen so far. I would give anything to be able to spend a day with you. I live and breathe gold. Hopefully I’ll find a bit. Stay safe. ❀

  8. I think these 5 days of prospecting really paid off! Applause to you, Chris, as I've learned a lot about where to dig by looking at specific areas. Even though you haven't weighed it yet, it is a significant amount in your pan. Go get'em! 🧐😍 Blessings from Alabama ❀️

  10. So I'm curious, as being a hobby prospector, what's the most you've found in a day, and how much do you find in say, a year ,or do you not keep track of a yearly find? Either way I love watching your vids and seeing fern as well
