  1. I honestly think it’s a huge mistake to make this a vr game. Who tf owns VR? Most people only know someone who has vr, if even knowing someone who owns VR. Putting a Batman game, more Arkham but on VR? It’s probably neat for the VR bros, but it’s only good from their point of view. From the point of view of the majority of arkham fans, they are being told there is a new one, but it’s on the least adopted platform to play games that’s still well over consideration for most people to buy for how expensive it is? This honestly comes off like a huge mistep, they had good intentions but not having put an arkham game out after suicide squad for everyone only adds fuel to the fire that is the arkham IP. People always say I wanted to play x or y game but it only released on VR. VR hasn’t been getting games that sell units, most VR owners are bag holders, bought early only on the hopes that games come and few good games have, so it’s just far from the best move they could have made here. Decidedly bad of a choice all things considered

  2. The guy on the right says that the Arkham trilogy is not playable on current gen, however it is, twice over. Through backwards compatibility and there was a ps5/Xbox remaster a few years ago. One can’t comprehend why he said Arkham isn’t playable on current gen because any fan, heck anyone with two working eyes knows it is

  3. WB has been so preoccupied chasing GAAS theyve been leaving millions on the table with an actual game people wanted with all Batman projects theyve cancelled in its wake. They keep saying making games is too risky but they waste money on products they think investors want rather than what the customers want

  4. This looks great, I'm glad it exists, but sadly I can't play it; VR kills me, I'd be puking on the floor like some Titan-infected reject in a minute or two tops.

Specific praise for the footage here? You actually have ARMS rather than disembodied hands!

  5. no wonder i didnt know about this game its VR … which means i cant play it because of my vision issues and how i cant process VR/3D like most (also the cost of VR and the space needed for the setup which i dont have)

  6. Arkham Origins is underrated imho. Side note, if you had already bought the dlc when Arkham Origins first came out (and that purchase was made on your current Xbox account) you can play the disc version of Arkham origins on Xbox Series X and download the dlc. I’ve played it numerous times in the past few months. Idk if the same thing is true for PlayStation though

  7. It's funny that one of these commentators in particular is always harping on about there isn't enough innovation or new games in the gaming industry and how he is exhausted of remakes and sequels and whatnot. However, in this video he is complaining about a SEQUEL he wanted that didn't get brought to market. Insert that hackneyed cake eating platitude here.

  8. I enjoyed the story. I finally got an Arkham game with twoface as the main villain. And it's a freaking vr game. It's better than nothing! I liked this take on Two-face.

  9. I’m glad “Arkham Origins” is getting more attention. There is an “Arkham” title I never hear anyone talk about. And it’s actually the sequel to “Origins.” “Batman: Arkham Origins-Blackgate” for handheld systems such as the PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Chronologically, it’s the game that introduces Catwoman to the “Arkham” universe. It takes place a few months after the events of “Origins” and its DLC, “Cold, Cold Heart.” After the intro stage of chasing Catwoman, the rest of the game takes place at Blackgate Prison. It’s 2.5D instead of 3D because of handheld system limitations. And it does bring back the claustrophobic maze-like feel of “Arkham Asylum.”

  10. One is a non live service Batman game that pays respect to the story and gameplay that the series was known for and the other is a live service shooter that doesn't do anything remotely interesting that harkens to the gameplay of the series and actively depicts the main protagonist of the series getting shot in the face unceremoniously after already giving a somewhat controversial ending already.

  11. Im a massive batman arkham fan and got a meta quest 3 just for this game, and when I found out there was £150 off the meta quest plus batman arkham shadows comes free with it itnwas a no brainer. If I could buy all batman arkham fans a meta quest 3 I totally would so they can experience this game.

  12. Warner bros are just stupid. Release suicide squad which was terrible. Then this which while it may be good it’s Vr only so it’s limited in its audience given more still don’t use vr than those that do. So to those of you who do like vr ENJOY this because when it predictably doesn’t do the numbers WB want for being vr only it will be the last they do.

  13. Even though Batman Arkham Origins is backwards compatible I still think a remaster would be good and make Arkham Origins Blackgate back compat too. But what could of WB Montreal Suicide Squad game have been or their Batman Damien Wayne. What could a Rocksteady Superman or Justice League have been.

  14. Batman Arkham Shadow is Phenomenal, I do feel bad for fans who don't like VR.. but as someone who does VR playthroughs, it's out of this world, and probably my new favorite VR game, not even just being a bias arkham fan, it's just top quality VR. I do hope we get another flat screen Arkham game.. cause although I love VR, but I still want those high quality AAA Rocksteady Arkham games to return first and foremost.. more than the VR games.. but Arkham Shadow is no joke and the story, gameplay, acting, etc is incredible.. and has me already excited for a sequel if Camouflaj were to do one. I just hope we get Arkham Knight sequel with Bat family, maybe Batman Beyond by Rocksteady while Camouflaj does sequels, VR games in the early years of Batmans career.
