  1. Graeme is awesome! To households thinking of getting a dog. Please research first. Most dogs require an absolute minimum of an hour of exercise (Jack probably 2 hours) and it takes calm, confident leadership, patience and a sense of humor to survive and thrive through puppyhood.

  2. 10:36 — I had a beagle, and I became very good at reading hound ears. Ol' Jack isn't quite sure what's going on, but he's not super-tense about it. Hounds are very perceptive about out moods and energy levels, and he's sensing a change. His eyes are wide, but not showing any whites, so he's alert, even while he's enjoying the new sensation of peaceful ear-scritching. Yeah, if they keep being consistent, Jack's gonna be a complete honey. Look at those freckles! And that big black nosie was made for booping.

  3. Young couples with no experience or little experience with dogs should get an older dog (small/medium) from a shelter that is already well behaved. You need to learn how to care for other beings other than your own before taking on a puppy. Puppies aren't just a play thing. They are a baby animal that requires love and attention too.
