Poor Riker, if he knew Picard went looking for Kayless especially when Worf said it was too dangerous he would have had a fit. By this time, even Patrick Stewart once complained his character wasn't doing any of the fun stuff Kirk did hence the backing off of Riker keeping the Capt. safe.
Look up “Lt. Jae” She is an extra that’s been in over 100 episodes and I think 4 movies. Once you see her, you’ll say “I’ve definitely seen her before”.
I suppose it might have been interesting for us to find out along with the crew that Picard was a fake, but then we wouldn't have gotten to see what happened with the real Picard. Tough call either way.
I always loved the Picard replacement episode. You know that this probably isn't Picard, but you don't know why. He doesn't have an overt agenda, just keeps acting a little off before obviously ordering the ship to be destroyed by the pulsar.
The Helo/Caprica storyline suffers badly from pacing issues. Interspersing it with the Galactica stories makes it feel like an eternity with basically nothing happening.
Most channels when they get to the end and roll credits on their outro I go on ahead to the next video in my queue, but your TNG song is so amazing I have to stay and listen to the whole thing every time.
Your point about no one in your immediate families being Star Trek fans was interesting because my family is almost the opposite. My brothers and I are fans, my parents are at least conversant with ST (my mom probably more so than my dad) but my sister has no interest in it whatsoever.
That was a good point, i never considered how (no offence) you sometimes criticise when you are ahead of the main crew, such as with Deanna's child, an episode i love, and was surprised ou didn't, but each to their own, boring world if we all love the sam e stuff. This is my fourth comment, so to quote Worf 'Chadich, be silent'. I'll STFU for this video lol.
I am a little surprise so many didn’t like Allegiance. I always found it to be a great episode. Now it isn’t my top episode by any means but it does what it does really well. I assume there is some dislike because there are a few unanswered questions by the end like what the other copies were doing and why exactly they were ordering the ship into a death trap.
I like to assume that Esoqq’s copy since he represented anarchy was trying to impose law and order on his people while Kova Tholl’s copy from the Mizar pacifists was engaging in violence and/or trying to initiate a build up in military or hostilities between them and other powers to see how far the other’s pacifism would go in the face of one of their own being violent.
I think Allegiance is a great episode. Most people I know like it, it’s just not top tier but it’s way better than A Matter of Perspective (which I personally didn’t hate, just found it mid).
As I mentioned before, your view on TNG episodes changes somewhat after the first and after the second watch. Most patreons probably have seen it more than twice.

Sorry if I'm asking that same annoying question … is there a place where I can find the lyrics of the outro song? Thanks.
"You are still fat Kempec!" One of my favorite Trek lines ever! And then the look on Kempec's face at being insulted. Very memorable!

What Star Trek was vs what it’s become, it’s F$&@/g embarrassing.
Really hope you two go with DS9 next.

Minor spoiler: the next Klingon episode is really awesome !
There is a balance in the Worf
Patrick Stewart: Get off my ship!
Harrison Ford: Get off my plane!
Also Harrison Ford: Get out of my house!
The Robert DeNiro blacklisting movie was Guilty by Suspicion.
Mccarthy gets a bad rap, he did in fact find russian planted agents in the treasury department

On a related note, Happy 84th birthday to Sir Patrick Stewart today!
You guys just aren't really for the end of this season it's such

Btw, loving how you guys have managed to work in whatever Trek scene into your backgrounds~❤
At that time, Tony Todd was the king of guest stars. Always, a good episode when he was in the credits.
The Helo/Caprica storyline suffers badly from pacing issues. Interspersing it with the Galactica stories makes it feel like an eternity with basically nothing happening.
Any time you guys make Trek predictions, I apoplectic in my chair and have to try my hardest not to say anything at all 😂
"I'm not going to include Deja Q in that…"
Me: And that is why you fail.
😂🤣🖖❤

I love your outro theme! 🎶😎

Can someone drop the lyrics for the outro song? There are two lines I can't understand no matter how many times I listen!
You guys when you were high-school age with VHS and CRT technology?
Love you guys. Keep up the good reactions.

One of the best TNG there is….and yet believe me – it will still get better.
