  1. Alexander, you have inspired me and helped me more than you will ever know with your expertise and channel. I am helping my partner as executor of an estate and we are cleaning out a house and getting it ready for sale. I wouldn't know how to handle any of the interior items of the house without what I learned from you. 💖

  2. I really appreciate the variety of your videos. You've also helped reignite my online selling ideas. Many years ago I sold used books online and made a healthy profit. This stopped when I moved overseas. But this week, I've put a few items on UK eBay. I'm probably going to make a loss because I overestimated the value (Mary Borgstrom photos from your auction last year) and I miscalculated the fees (a LOT has changed in online selling since 2012).

  3. I cannot imagine what it would be like to go through life having regrets. You can't win if you don't try. To not try, you must live with those thoughts of "what ifs". At least trying will make all the failures worth it. I love watching your videos.

  4. Hi Alex. You are not by any means "flighty." You are flyING – higher, better, and beyond in many cases where you have never been before! Many of us wish we had the confidence to take risks and believe in ourselves enough to do so. You have had the courage to follow your passion and take the chances to make your life happy and successful. That you not only do it for yourself, everything you do is also for the good of your family. You are a rare and special person in this world, and a gift to so many.

  5. You have 511K subscribers, 247 comments, and 19,000+ views. You need not worry about not being able to influence people. I personally think you have done a great job using your YouTube channel to enlighten, and educate your viewers. You have definitely influenced your viewers in a positive way. I have learned a lot from watching your channel, and enjoy the jokes, conversation, friendships, and all of the interesting people you meet. I hope you can continue for many years! Ps I don’t think it’s being flighty. I think it’s being excited about life. Because you have the freedom to accept or decline whatever comes your way. You’ve proven what you have chosen to do in life has worked. And I think it’s GREAT!!!!!! CF

I absolutely LOVE you, Alex, your children and Chewy!! I absolutely feel as though your family!!
I'm eighty years old, but young at heart.
How much did you get for the Nash Metropolitan? In 1961 I bought one exactly like yours. It was perfect for college. The back seat perfect for holding huge books, notebooks, etc. My heart did a back flip when I saw it!!😊 Sweet memories!! Hugs to all!!

  9. Please spare me the life lectures and your "from the high ground" philosophy. Just do your thing and leave it at that. You guys know you fell into a bucket of $$ thanks to Madam Rac and the wealth she left behind that was never intended for you. It was her life and talent that set you up for life by pure luck and the work of your friends and family and of course some by you. Sorry, I just had to say it.

  11. You could do a Curiosity Inc collection. Not merch exactly, but cool things that maybe artists you know and love make that could be CI’d. Or how about the amazing graphics you collect put into a new form that only you have…

  12. CI, read the live feed comment from Tink — you may not want to miss it. I’m not done rewatching so I don’t know if you eventually acknowledge it. Ignore this if so. Around the 1 hour mark

  13. You did change direction, but that is up to you and Melissa. I’m ok with it. It’s then up to your viewer if they want to continue watching. People are comfortable with what they know. I think it’s why a few people want you back in your antique shop. There is no doubt about certain things, you are dedicated to your family, you enjoy life and you are who you are. I’ve been watching since prior to the Potters series. I think we most love when you clear out homes but, we all understand the right one for you is not easy to find. I’ve even bought a few things from your auctions including a very old book about Alexander the Great. Just keep being Alex, whatever that is! ♥️

  14. You guys are so positive and in the public eye. Some unhappy people will watch and listen to be up lifted and some more unconscious people will try to bring others down to their level of unhappiness. You do a great job as an example in low to stay positive and not let the naysayers stop you.

  15. You are evolving so of course you can't put yourself in a box. I myself am evolving so I appreciate what you are doing. I don't like mushy comments but I will say that I learn alot about moving along from you. If you are taking good care of your family, you can do what you want. Keep evolving!

  16. Have you watched What the Hales? They buy storage units and they have included videos when they track down the owner to give back personal items. They can often tell by paperwork that is left behind in the unit. Also, the storage company sometimes has information about the owner. The episodes where they find the owners are often the best ones. They are always so happy to be given back personal items like family photos, diaries, and letters. Those things mean more to them than the furniture or other material things they left in the unit. They mostly have fallen on hard times and couldn't take the big things anyway. Of course, they can't do this every time. But it is heartwarming. One time they bought a unit that was full of microwaves. They took a truck to a poor neighborhood and just gave them away. People were so happy, once they realized it wasn't a scam. There are always possibilities for stories. Good luck. I just hope whatever you do includes videos. I always enjoy your videos. I think it is not just to subject matter, but also you seem to be a genuine and kind person.
