WDW Resorts 103: Room Views and Locations

On this week’s episode we talk all about the room finder, which you can find here: https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/room-finder

We also look at various room and location options at each resort, and whether the upgrade cost may or may not be worth it for you at each.

As always, if you have questions or experiences that you’d like to share, feel free to drop them in the comments below, email [email protected], or send them to @raisingminniemes on IG.

  1. Great information,. and thank you for all the hard work!
Any tips on how to request an outer building garden view deluxe room at the Grand Floridian? I have a standard outer building garden view room booked for my upcoming June trip.
I don't see outer building garden view deluxe as a separate booking category on the Disney website……

  2. The room finder tool was awesome. I was using it for the best views. I had 3 other options available when I didn't get my first choice. My second choice worked out great (partial fireworks view, super easy access to Epcot, and using the outside for easier navigating the hotel). Thanks Touring Plans.

  3. So you skipped over Art of Animation. Boo! That is where we want to stay in August. I am trying to figure out which Cars room would be as close of a walk to the lobby and the skyliner as we would get if we stayed at the Nemo building. I have a Nemo room already reserved but we qualify for a military discount at that resort. She said the only military rooms are in the Cars section so if we want to save the money we have to move to the Cars building.

  4. I'm binge-watching a lot of these Tutorials right now. I don't even have a Disney trip booked, but the information fascinates me (yay, data!) and I just love Becky's delivery.
