I didnt plan to watch The Flash. But intrested about what happens and the big suprises. Watched the New Rockstars and Heavy Spoilers plot breakdowns and surprises. No spoiling of coarse. Hey, it seems awesome.

Anyone finding the video in spotify incredibly glitchy? You can't skip ahead, it freezes the whole thing and i have to exit.
Same as Kris and John, I've also really liked a lot the work that Michael DeLuca and Pamela Abdy have been known. Back during their tenure at MGM, from 2018-2022, they steered up a once-successful studio back into the public conscious independently, not just with the IP brands of Rocky and Bond, but even original movies such as Licorice Pizza tha gave MGM its first Best Picture nomination since Rain Man. There was also a great interview on Deadline with the two of them back in late 2021, and I was amused by the enthusiasm and energy they have at making movies. So, having them co-lead WB is going to be a giant win moving forward, and its one of the many good decisions David Zaslav has done at WB next to James Gunn on DC Studios.
Nonetheless, I do also admire how smart they are in highlighting the fact the Donna Langley is a force to be reckoned with, and shouldn't be underestimated. Because say what you want about the quality of their movies, but what she has shepherded at Universal with Fast And The Furious and Jurassic World financially, as well as the succeses of Blumhouse, Focus Features, Illumination, and despite a few fumbles, giving DreamWorks a giant comeback. Like, Donna Langley has shaped Universal immensely; so depending on how Oppenheimer will do, she could really manage Christopher Nolan to stay at the Universal fold for a long while. Either way, things are going to take an interesting turn once Oppenheimer comes out

Is typically big named directors exclusive to one studio? Can't Christopher Nolan work for both studios if his time permits? Or is there a contract involved
Re Nolan. He may also be waiting to see how WB gonna woo Legendary back.
WB would also have to be giving Denis Villeneuve blank cheques and suck up to him big time to show Nolan how good it is to be in WB

Did John ever explain why the full shows are audio only? It's kind of annoying while watching from work or home.

So I didn't realize until today that on Spotify, I can see the video version of this podcast. Assumed it was audio only. Which leads into more confusion of why it isn't posted here. I thought the goal was to remove the need to be on camera as much.

Posting a review based on 2 episodes of a show is pointless. I do not read or give any weight whatsoever to those reviews for streaming shows. Also, if I was a critic, watching & reviewing 2 episodes of a show then having to wait multiple weeks for the rest of the show seems really pointless and stupid. It's basically just another way for the studio to create more artificial hype, and keep the show in the cultural zeitgeist for a couple more weeks. The reviews themselves do not matter
Time to give Richard Kelly a chance
John Campea is a very competent guy businesswise and an excellent communicator. So I'm suprised he said live on air "One of our four sponsors are total a-holes owing us months of marketing" and didn't specify which one. And probably won't after the issue is resolved. Three sponsors are really p!ssed right now.
Im sorry, but believing that the Flash is a “great movie” is just not adding up.
