That was brillant, it's not an easy part. Your approval from laezel must be pretty high now, it's important because she's such a loyal character (despite never being nice) and in case she will have to choose between loyalty toward you or toward the giths… Welcome to the I-will-fix-all-my-companions process 🤣 what about giving the egg to laezel? do you think "maternity" could soften her?
A couple tips :
– natural 20 is always a success, whatever difficulty or bonuses, same natural 1 is always a fail
– you can filter your equipment by weight to easily identify what encumbers you most. You can send all non-magical weapons and armor to camp and retrieve them just when you meet a merchant (gith armor are worth alot of money)
– Giths are awesome fighters, might be a good time to drink some elixirs at breakfast, they last until the next long rest but you cant drink more than one per character, otherwise the last one erases the previous.
It's always fun to see your play, thanks for that
Where did you learn your British accent?
You didn't go to the shopkeeper? 😅 you walked right be her! you might want to go to the Gith shopkeeper she has some great weapons! 😀
Good job getting that egg! and does seem like good idea to give Lae’zel.
The whole purification scene is so grueling and stressful, so glad you rolled a natural 20 (automatic critical success) to spare her the inevitable damage!
(The cold-hearted among us urge her to endure until we get the opportunity to seize more illithid power for ourselves. That leaves Lae’zel with damaged stats, which can only be restored if we persuade her to consume tadpoles…only a route for cold-blooded tadpole-consumers among us.
Might be a moment of head-slap here…couldn’t you just fast travel out of that locked room? Regardless, all of the fighting was contained in that area, so the rest of the githyanki will not be automatically hostile.
Rosymorn Monastery may have been looted, but the Blood of Lathandar (a legendary weapon) remains safely buried beneath the temple. It is an overpowered weapon, I like to give to a cleric like Shadowheart since the radiance it continuously sheds blinds all undead and fiends, so good weapon for a Paladin or Cleric.
All of the ceremonial weapons can be found in the upper temple—you may have already picked up the sword, so will have to be returned to the correct altar. Searching from rooftop to outskirts (with a little judicious grave-robbing thrown in) might prove fruitful… but even if you solve that puzzle, you’ll still need to find the hidden entrance, somewhere deep inside. Good luck!
13:20 I think they try to show the ways in which some of the followers of the "good" gods in this game often get a bit freaky about it, to answer the question of "why doesn't everyone just worship the good gods?" 😂😂
Great video and love your new hair btw 😊
