It is so relaxing to watch you paint these gorgeous scenes. Hoping I can get the courage (and the free time from the kids!) to sit down and work through this tutorial soon! 🌅
the last addition of water on the dry clouds really added to the cloud. Preserving white space is always a challenge for me
day 2! this was fun!
Loving this series! I’m not great with the thirsty brush technique but I’m embracing the challenge and forging ahead!
Super excited to paint this! I really enjoy and appreciate your teaching style. Thank you for all that you share!
You captured one of my favorite parts of after a storm! The rays breaking through is so spectacular!
Can't wait to try this one, I always watch it first to be prepared 😅
It’s cool how many different shapes of clouds exist. The light you capture in your clouds is nifty. I plan to master WC clouds soon
I'm so exicited about this project! I've always believed that capturing this light with painting was kind of impossible! But with your super video you made it easy and soo beautiful! Thanks, Kolbie!!
Hoping to give this a try soon
Love that last bit of experiment where you painted clear water over the paint to create an extra effect!
I’m loving these tutorials! Thank you so much for your efforts
Clouds are so cool, love to watch the sky. Thanks for the tutorial Kolbie
Oof – clouds! Thanks for this great tutorial – it's going to take a few tries 🤣
Love the way you make everything playful and the description of the process as a dance!
Looks beautiful. I didn’t understand the name of the blue color you used.
Using white space is always challenging for me. Not to mention clouds and skies are SUPER hard for me to feel good about! I think I’ll practice this one a few more times.
OMG I'm so scared about the clouds! But also excited to try!
I love this little piece. It's such a gorgeous painting – like a promise of brighter things to come! I'm enjoying seeing your growth too from last year's wilderness challenge that I followed along. I'm not arty enough to know the words but I can see that you are painting so much more confidently and it shows. This is encouraging to me that if I keep going I might get there too. Thanks so much.
Got my book last night. Yay! Watching beautiful clouds building out my window as I watch this. So inspiring!
Wow this came out so beautiful, great advice .
I didn't expect to like this one, because clouds always seem so daunting to me. But I'm going to give it a shot!! Thanks!
You make it look so easy!
Today's excercise was more challenging but i loved it!
update: after 4 attempts I had to walk away. I'm continuing on with the challenge and perhaps, come back to it at a later time. Sometimes it's ok to walk away.
This was a super fun painting – I liked the free and easy approach – a little more this … now a little of that …! Thanks Kolbie 🙂
It was fun to watch the clouds pop out of my painting! Thanks for the tutorial!
This was so pretty and harder than I anticipated! Looking forward to seeing how my subsequent attempts improve.
Oo, different kind of scene!
Heavenly 😍
Thank you for this lesson!! This was so challenging but I will keep trying!!!
