  1. bro the people in these comments are exactly the type of people to mouth off and get themselves in trouble, because they don't know when to shut up or how to speak respectfully, and then they say "oh the cops was out to get me, oh the judge had it out for me, oh they treated me unfairly, blah blah blah." Nah bro your stupid mouth got you in trouble and you're lack of even a few minutes of self control proved that you cant even function as a law abiding citizen, which is most likely why you're in court in the first place. But sure blame the sysem. Yeah you have the right to be an asshole, and everybody else has the right to treat you like shit for being an asshole. If someone walks in your house and disrespects you, takes a dump on your bed, and talks shit to your face, you sure would have something to say then wouldn't you?

  2. I'm so on board for burying "mah bad" from the lexicon. Ownership isn't a substitute for remorse. We know the rudeness/mistake came from you, ya goofy goober. Say you're sorry like one human being to another.

  3. butthurt rednecks in the comment mad because a black judge calmly reprimanded an unruly defendant on his day in court. You people are so contrary, if it were a white judge saying the same to a rude black defendant youd be like „respect the law“ or some racist drivel about black people being criminals.

  4. The judge is correct ✅ but he has to understand that most of the people who appear before him are not going to have the same education and upbringing as he. “My bad” is not an insult. I tell my staff not to curse at work also and not to speak vulgar in front of customers. But sometimes the customers are ignorant also.

  5. Bro should use manners, in court,.. yes, but he is not legally required to. CONTEMPT of court was designed to restore order to proceedings and is over used by weak minded Judges who get offended.
Absolute power will absolutely corrupt weak people.

  6. Most judges act this way. I’m so glad people are finally realizing how far past the line we’ve crossed! The judge will throw you in a cage and strip all of your God given liberties because judge don’t like your language or choice of words! How is this a constitutional republic anymore???

  7. I’m glad that judge did that, some people need to learn respect, that thug wasn’t on the streets,we all have to grow up eventually,if you don’t like having a judge talk to you like that, don’t break the law,it’s amazing how that works,

  8. 1. It’s not HIS courtroom he’s just been TEMPORARILY privileged the authority

    2. Summary contempt power is not vested in the court as a means to punish speech unless it is “vile, contemptuous or disrespectful…..frankly I think it’s too much power for a person…..far to often abused and rarely checked….
