  1. I remember that my mother said every vote she made was just a waste of time in right wing North Carolina. This was back in the 1960s when the issue was Civil Rights. NC pseudo aristocrats as I have described them can be identified as following principles of the 17th century economist William Petty who believed that labor he saw out his window had to work so hard that none of them would work unless they were kept desperate. Statistics did not exist till later when it shows that labor will spend increases in their wealth on home improvements and education for their children. Think how property values in Carrboro and Chapel Hill keep hitting the roof. Taxes are high but they go to the schools which brings down the crime rate, at least from what I can tell. Better schools are more important than more police.

  2. U2 is a terrible metric! U6 speaks to real unemployment and, therefore, is a better indicator. Other great indicators are homelessness, cost of living change %, and the surge in insured under Affordable Care.

  3. Getting $300,000 in debt for a degree that pays $24,000 in debt, now want the debt forgiven, how does that make sense?
4 years of drunken partying at tax payers expense?
These loans are just too easy to acquire.

  4. I'm curious.. does Brazil have a FOX news of their own. How an American company would produce a product designed to destroy the very country, the unique country, that allows this in the 1st place? FOX is more at fault that Trump is for the MAGA party. Make no mistake. Name any other company or corporation that so actively tries to destroy this country like FOX! Exposing FOX will go a lit further to saving this country than quieting Trump will. People got on OBAMA for going after FOX. How right he was!!! It isn't a media company. It's insurrection at its finest.

  5. Mitch had a chance to set the tone for our election aftermath he went silent Had a lot to say when the capital was attack but later wouldn’t accept impeachment and rally the party to expel him. Let it up to the courts later. Now we are dealing with the mess in our courts Costing the taxpayers a fortune and delaying other important issues just to clean up what Mitch turned his back on. Mitch backed Trump let’s face it. Enabler

  6. No, it is not a Republican Party problem. It’s an American problem! If American voters are encouraged by Trump calling immigrants “vermin,” then it’s the American people themselves who are the racists. It’s the American people who are antisemitic, anti-Muslim. It’s the American people who are voting in MTG and Matt Gaetz. These Americans want America to go back to an idealized 1950s where white people (men) ran the government and corporations, and blacks and “foreigners” knew their place. And they are going to get God and guns to get it.
