I am in sw SD and after tomorrow's 100+°, this will be quite significant!
After always getting skipped on severe weather and have been for years. I got a category 5 hurricane and almost an F-4 tornado. I paid a friend to do it who has a large private jet. You want to talk about an incredible Windstorm from 60mph up to 170mph+ I waited til a Sunday when no one was around and I told him I would buy his fuel for 1 hour I would also sign a legal waiver if I got hurt and wear eye protection and hearing protection. The jet had 3 engines on it and he pulled it out of his hangar with the tug. He cranked up the jet and his friend spotted me where if something went wrong. These type of winds can kill you. I stood behind the plane and he held the brakes and at 130mph winds I couldn't stand up he increased the throttle more and I got well over Cat 5 hurricane force winds sustained it would drag me across the ground lying flat. It was strong enough to over turn cars. I had always wanted a tornado or hurricane and I got both. It cost me several grand to do it but after 20 years of everything skipping me that jet airplane didn't discriminate what area the severe weather was in when it came down to whose buying. 170mph winds will blow you across the ground lying flat. I was friends with this individual is how I got them to do an incredible Windstorm for me.
