Parachutists jumped from World War II-era planes into now peaceful Normandy to kick off a week of ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Soldiers from across the United States, Britain, Canada and other Allied nations waded ashore through hails of fire on five beaches on June 6, 1944. French officials, grateful Normandy survivors and other admirers are saying βmerciβ but also goodbye to the fast-dwindling number of D-Day veterans still alive. Just as a precaution France surrenderπ
One of the most horriffic events in history and they stage a parachute jump display. Mindless disrespect. Bow our heads and pray for an end to horrible wars.
100 million white men women and children dead. So "They" could remain atop of the European banking system. Borders, culture, race forever destroyed. Thank you so much, greatest generation.
Did they sing blood on the risers
My Father in law, nelson rice hit the beach one day after D Day, and told me his first job for one week was cutting down dead Paratroopers from trees and other things like church steples…He was with Patton from north Africa, all the way to germany and was wounded crosssing the Ramadan bridge, in the first plattoon into Germany, and recieved a bronze star with "V" device and the purple heart that day…He had been three years in combat by his 21st birthday!
MASS?! We have a different definition, garbage media as usual.

We Must Never Forget The Greatest Generation. If it were not for them, we could never be.
Pray, but, more importantly, Work for Peace.
"We're paratroopers, we're supposed to be surrounded."
I know I watched them fly over my Essex town flying out and coming home again and eveh have Photographs on my camera via my 600 mm lens. Three Planes few out but only two passed over my Essex town on the way back.
I was at duxford which was where they were loaded in
Thank you.
Thatβs something to really celebrate withβ prideβ
Amazing!
A time when the English stepped up to lead the resistance to save Europe and France, yet look at how the French treat us! Never paid Britain or America anything in compensation. Yes, it had to be done, but blimey, the French were so lucky we stepped in, otherwise they'd have been swept aside and lived under German rule thereafter.
They should always be reminded of that, yet look at how the arrogant and horrible French and treated us since, to the current day!
