  1. Oh ffs, stop all this posturing, aggression and war mongering. China is becoming so advanced, futuristic, working with its neighbours to improve infrastructure and relationships. The USA and China should cooperate and focus on improving the lives of the citizens of their countries and the world, not spend trillions on military spending which just makes politicians rich.

  2. Problem is the left across Europe and America are in the Chinese’s pocket. They believe in the communism and want the destruction of the west. They alt to be tried for treason if this goes through. Hope President stops this immediately. God bless America from an Englishman 🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

  3. Only about 34% of British electors voted for this Labour government, but, because of our rather odd political system, they got most seats in Parliament. Labour, who are way to the left, have made several mind-numbingly stupid decisions in their first year in power, and, to be fair, this is one that was started by the last Conservative lot, & simply carried on by Starmer & Co. They know that China bribes & bullies its way around the world, & that China calculates that every politician has his price, hence the tempting offers to Mauritius, a small, poor country. Few politicians care where the bribe money comes from, – only that it doesn't come out of their pockets, hence the crackpot 'lease-back' plan for Diego Garcia. Be assured, America, that 99% of us in Britain have no "colonial guilt", & no desire to give our few remaining territories away to an enemy. Had our so-called 'leaders' the sense they were born with, we'd have offered the islands to the USA for a dollar, – with the proviso that the Chagossians would be fairly treated.

  6. Well said Senator Kenndey. As a British citizen I totally agree with you. Unfortunately we have many political cowards in the UK. We need reform as soon as possible, our only hope unless Mr Trump can rescue us. I have been watching you in the senate for a few years now and only wish that we had a you in theUK parliament.
