The APC in Ebonyi State has expelled the main challenger to Governor David Umahi for the state’s Southern Senatorial District ticket, Ann Agom-Eze, from the party over alleged rebellious and unruly behaviour.
According to a statement by the APC Chairman in the state, Stanley Okoro-Emegha, she was expelled because she violated the APC Constitution, which prohibits any act of dishonesty, capable of disparaging the party or its members.

This is just so shameful! I was starting to like Gov. Umahi but I realized he is a clueless politician.
He went to APC with a promise perhaps that he will be a top contender for the presidential ticket. When the time came to campaign, he was probably lied to that he got it in the bag–in fact, all the south eastern presidential candidates were lied to because none of them campaigned. They thought they had it in the bag. It was Amaechi, Tinubu, and Osinbajo that I saw that were making efforts.
I guess they are trying to make the Senate seat a consolation prize for him but it MUST not happen. She must be the candidate no matter what. Let every one else go kick rocks.

Umahi deserve to be expelled from the party. He can't win his local government area let alone win other LGA that make up the senatorial zone. The current serving senator Ama Nnachi is from Afikpo south, and the current house of rep is from Afikpo North and Afikpo North holds the political power and cannot defeat Afikpo North rep member and senator from Afikpo south. Even by rigging. Umahi has lots of issues with his own clan. The current candidate for PDP guber in Ebonyi is from a nearby LGA of Umahi and he can't suppress these men.
