  1. This intelligent gentleman that Chris had on illustrates the point so beautifully that right wingers are abject cowards. They are so scared to engage on the level of ideas and be proved wrong, if someone gets too close to that, they can pull out their gun and be right.

  2. How does the Military distinguish white nationalists from conservatives? I don't know if they are any different. But these men and women are still protecting America, even if their idea of America is different than mine. As a Democrat, i will say that you cannot punish existing military members just because the politicians at home are polarizing society. The military is an amazing unifier of people in that they all realize each others strengths are important to protect American interests.

  3. Rachel there is solutions to stop Trump to run for any public office because he encouraged and continue to encourage insurrection he failed to protect Americans and failed to obey our Federal laws. The Federal prosecutors can use 14 amendment to block Trump to run for any public office. Americans Democracy is not meant to fix problems but to worsen them because our democracy has no real solutions for a reckless and dangerous guys like Trump and his surrogates and that is the reason democracy is trembling around the world and giving advantage to autocrates to run and rule the world.

  4. I do enjoy that someone as incredibly smart and talented as Ms. Maddow is unafraid to display real empathy for people. Her emotions are allowed to inform her product, not control it. Valuable as a journalist and thinker in our weird social mix.

  5. Gotta say, you got that one wrong, buddy. Cheeto Mussolini only has power because he is perpetually spewing lies that are uncontested and disinformation nobody checks. The media refuses to acknowledge its ability to infect the minds of their consumers. Ellsworth Toohey is on full display. We have to look no further than the Monarchist's Nativist Mick FauxNews Murdoch Silo Disinformation Propaganda Network. I need a latte.

  6. ATTENTION: Donald JOHN Trump has NEVER heard of these so- called 'Proud Boy" guys.
ALSO: He loves them very, very much. Because I.Q points have dropped 28 points in my lifetime. COVID was our disinfectant injection shot to THIN THE HERD. Now it's OUR women's health and OUR children sacrificed to Ar 15's. NOT a Communist. Just SANE.

  7. "An armed society is a polite society." If you are both equally armed, then conversations will proceed apace. Don't put yourself at a disadvantage by allowing the other party to intimidate you through force of arms and you are on equal footing. At least, that's the theory…ask any Repubba.

  8. U.S. weapons manufacturers lobby and pay Republicans to propagandize for a paramilitary insurrection “civil war.” We are giving them billions of tax dollars to design the most efficient weapons of war surely, we can demand they stop undermining our democracy.

  10. When we view our neighbors as horrible people, so bad that we need AR 15 to protect ourselves against them, we are doomed as a society.

Forget about the social contract, it becomes the power of the gun.

  11. Trump's Space Force commanding officer who lost his job because he not only embraced the white nationalist “cultural Marxism” hoax, but published a book and hosted a podcast attacking the American military for supposedly succumbing to its nefarious leftist wiles.
