  1. Teaching love, empathy and acceptance is not universally accepted unfortunately. Ignorance and xenophobia still exists sadly. That's why teaching these things is needed. The bigots don't want that change. They want to teach there kids too hate and not accept anyone that isn't like them. Mixing progression with regression will have these conflicts. Shameful that politicians have tapped into this discussion to gain votes and popularity.

  2. trump tryed to lower the unemployment rate so the lower class making 725 on hour could pay more taxes than the billionaires and the corporations he gave tax break's to. So he could show how trickle down economics works. What did that do to our national debt. The highest increase in our nation debt in history.

  3. It's a cycle, democrats fix the economy then Republicans steal from it and ruin the economy,
Democrats return rebuild and Republicans ruin.

  4. So her college education is wasted on a profession she chose for her future. When these corrupt republican lawmakers chooses to interfere and dictate currriculums that have existed since education began, shows the authoritarian mindset that was taught against, separating America from countries of second and third class standing. When education stop, countries die. And they regress back to their animalistic instincts. Case in point, attacks, and mass murders, gun violence, primitive ways. This is what privilege people are directing their future to, speaking of their children. These teachers that are being let go, should leave whatever city, county, or state they are in, and relocate where these they are able to teach without hindrance.

  6. I've often thought that you could take a presidential term of office and the state of the economy and draw them on two lines. Then take the economy line and move it forward about a year and a half, like two scales on a slide rule. Then you get a better picture of who gets credit (or blame) for what.

  7. The GOP keeps lying that this is the worst economy ever OVER AND OVER again. Democrats needs to keep truthing (should be a word these days) that the economy is improving because of their good work OVER AND OVER AND OVER again to counteract this. Let's face it, nothing Democrats will say no matter how many times will be accepted by the Trump MAGA cult. However, Democrat messaging needs to be louder and more repetitive to ensure Independents hear it, embrace it and vote BLUE.

  8. It's a shame that there are so many people out there that don't care at all about statistics, facts, giving credit where it's due. Biden is doing an excellent job, and he will not get nearly enough credit because of today's society.

  9. in the old testament of the Bible a group of men demanded a homeowner to hand over his male guest so they could r*** him, instead the homeowner handed over his male guest's concubine. they r** her all throughout the night & the next morning she died. The man whom the concubine belonged to cut into four pieces and sent her body to the four corners of the government as a warning. there's another story of a brother who r** his sister. another daughters get their father drunk and then have s** with him. republicans in Utah are offended that some parents have asked for this book to be removed

You took the words right out of my mouth!

    "Credit where it's due"

Enough of all the criticism of President Biden.
    He's gotten more accomplished
    FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
    then any President in history.

    Low approval rating?
    Give me a break.

  13. "Divisive" can certainly include any concepts that attempt to rigidly define any group of people or even individuals.
"Divisive" can certainly include any attempt at forcing one particular sect or religion's values on everyone else.
"Divisive" can certainly include any right wing political ideology.
Time for thousands and thousands and thousands of complaints and lawsuits.

  14. We are now seeing what happens when religious zealots take over a political party. Don't be fooled, this has been the long-term game plan of the evangelical zealots for many decades now. Unfortunately, we all live in the period of time when those same zealots feel empowered to try and force others into their disgusting and despicable walled garden.

  16. Growing up I never had any problems identifying that I ’m a female who one will be a woman. I have 3 grown adults and they never had that issue. Now out of the blue we having this discussion and confusion in who you are. I think this time I blame the media for who cares who you are or what to be. That is not a conversation I have going on in my life or my surroundings. If you what to read then book then read it. And if not then pass on it. We should not be talking about more serious things then a book or body preferences.

  17. To understand the basis of this fascist attack on this exemplary teacher, one need only look at the title illustration: a boy whose shadow wears a skirt. Are we in 2023 America or 1923 Germany? I submit the latter.

  18. America is heading for an educational black hole. The idea that a simple sweet book like the one identified could be the cause for firing a teacher is beyond understanding, mainly because it is based in fear, bigotry, hate and ignorance.
I hope a blue state steps up and offers this lady a job somewhere she can be appreciated for creating a safe inclusive classroom for children…..

  22. Come to my state, we can always use amazing teachers! It's only the children of the State of Georgia who will end up suffering, once they've whittled all the good educators out of their schools.

(Meaning eventually, only more Republicans will end up getting elected, in the long run, as the population grows increasingly under and uneducated, which seems to be the entire point in the first place anyway lol what's that say about them? That they have to lie, obfuscate cheat and systematically dumb down their constituencies beginning at the elementary school level in order to remain politically viable?!?)

    I'm just sayin' ✌️
