Was This FNAF Fan Game Overhyped? | The Joy of Creation: Story Mode

The Joy of Creation: Story Mode is known to be one of the best FNAF fan games ever made. Using Scott Cawthon as inspiration. Many Five Nights At Freddy’s fan games are overhyped, with them usually just being disappointing. So, will this fan game be just another disappointing boring mess or will it actually live up to the expectations?

  2. "Withered Chica is one of the worst FNaF designs"

L opinion. The dead stare which just pierces right through you, the fact that she can't move her arms making her feel much more statue-like, the giant mouth with 4 rows of teeth, she's the one I'd be running from the fastest if I saw her.

  3. It was so funny rewatching this as a DID system with micheal afton fictives and a Scott factive (types of introjects, those alters are somewhat copies of their source material for us) and thinking about the plot in retrospect. Like honestly our Mike does somewhat dislike Scott for making fnaf and causing him his trauma but they respect each other and understand the situation is weird, our Mike however does hate William with a burning passion.

  5. There is actually a remaster being made in Unreal Engine 5. There is just the first memory so far as a demo and it is extremely terrifying and looks way better. I don't know if there will be any differences in the story or not though.

  6. To me, the idea of a paranormal beast taking the form of your own creations is a great idea. I'd say to me, the creatures are akin to either a Tulpa, Skinwalker, or Fleshgait type monster that has been stalking the woods around the estate and desire to live amongst humans. So, seeing a creative type, five of them take the form of these characters to psychologically torture and breakdown the family to kill and take over their lives, just like how the Funtimes did in the series, perhaps the beast themselves taking the idea from Scott himself.

Mike's monster wanted to be the sole human takeover and sabotaged the other beast to have his pick of Scott himself. The others combine together to form Creation and while Scott is fighting against it in the end, Mike swooped in at the end to take his body.

The end has two ways of thinking, either he drags the others inside the fire to get rid of the others and burn the body so the other beast can't escape. The other idea is mainly the family realizing their father and husband isn't the real him and the panic setting in.

It's interesting to think that the ignited designs are actually a reflection of the future, since everything went up in flames.

  7. (just a heads up before u read id you do, i respect ur opinion and thoughts on the game but i just wanted to make my thoughts as well) I feel like we need to take into account when this game was made. This was made back in 2015 back when the main three game came out and fnaf was a a peak popularity and free roam fnaf was kinda new at this point in time with some base level fan games having it. At the time this was a simple fanmade game made by someone who enjoyed the fnaf games and wanted to make his own imprint on it. the designes i feel are pretty creepy and add to the originality of the game (kinda like their damaged form traveling to cawthons house to kill them) and again he probally didn't have the skills to make whole new models form this game and used the withered as a base (btw u get what u mean witheres looking diffrent form the originals but fnaf 2 takes place before fnaf 1 and those animatronics were used in fredbears family diner and it even says in the fnaf 2 newspaper that ehy were gonn ause the older models as a path for the new location aka fnaf 1. The story if unique but maybe dosent fit modern society but was new in 2015 (being haunted by ur own creations u made was quite diffrent back then). The gameplay kinda dosent use common sense but agan it was just a fangame. I think another point of popularity was popular youtubers such as markiplier playing it put its place on the map. And who knows what the future wholds since their apart of the fanverse initiative and have funding for the sequal. Overall I think the game it good and very creative but that was for the time it was made back in 2015. Judging it now is kinda like comparing a vhs player to an iphone 14.

  8. I personally found the attic to be quite brilliant in terms of gameplay. Its an interesting balance you need to maintain while managing the flash/zap thing. You need to use it on creation to keep it away, but you also need to use it on golden freddy so you can actually complete the night (i believe you need to flash golden freddy 12 times to win). The catch being that the recharge on the flash beacon is too long to comfortably keep creaton at bay while also getting golden freddy enough times to win

  9. You might also be wondering what happened to Nick. Y'know..the whole reason we can play. The memories we play in are actually Nick's memories and how he remembers the events that happened. And in each memory there's secret game overs. Having the words "COME BACK." In them.
In the last memory, if you let golden freddy kill you by looking at him for too long, you'll get the last secret game over:

It shows a phone on the ground, a pool of blood surrounding it. And if you pay attention to who's currently ringing the phone, you'll realize this is actually Nick's phone and we're in the present. When he bought his old family house back.

The words "COME BACK." In the last game overs were directed to Nick himself. The demons calling him to come back. And in the final secret game over. There's no "COME BACK." But rather. Just some dots.

    Because he did just that.
    He came back.
And died, just like his dad.

  10. I absolutely love Nixon and the games he makes. This was my introduction to his work but he is also how I found out about Dark Deception and I’ve been a massive fan of that game since it got its massive overhaul thanks to Nixon

  11. I agree with the video, but concerning your opinion on the animatronics, ALOT of people think that Withered Chica is the most terrifying in the franchise. I don't get it personally, because I don't think any of the animatronics look scary myself, but I thought I'd just leave that note for any Chica enjoyers.
