Give the fights with the ghost packs another chance Indrid! You were saying on the lighthouse island how desperate you were for food, they drop meat as well as ghost leather, and you ran past them. You’ve done a lot of fights that are harder than ghost packs. There is a trait that your mercs can eventually get that makes them immune to terror.
Edit: That’s awesome you found a bow that shoots the fire arrows. That’s a rare drop I think. I’ve never pulled one or seen anyone else pull one.
Hey there was indeed a major stat squish.
Almost half of everything which affects your boys and enemies. This makes legendaries and leveladvantages less oppressive.
The lower con can also mean some overall -50 carrying after the patch which i think is what the complains were about.
Light armor went from ~170 down to ~90 as a benchmark. My lvl 11 bear on 1600 hp was unchanged though. Defenitely an indirect buff for bears and their weapon independent damage! Saw it on yogi slapping the first archer lol
A thing you can try before it gets nerfed:
The Malun-memorial-madness
Coratje with "valor-on-engage passive" and the middle ''Fighter'' spec with the Kick attack.
Taunt-(engage=valor+riposte)
manual disengage (take a very low hit for riposte)
Destabaliting strike-(engage=valor+riposte)
manual disengage (take a mild hit for riposte)
repeat with default attack, wrath, some people even add torch strike.
Quite a fun way to have heavy armor go rampage and squeeze tons of value off a strong 1h. 🙂
Bonus when using the frog belt that "reduces attacks of opportunity damage taken by 50%"
That and taunt has the disengage hit do 0 dmg.

They keep nerfing and stat squishing.
New update is sweet, haven't got a chance to finish the new city yet but it's cool. Food wise, i'd recommend just eating half of your carcasses, they're 1 food each and will give you a massive weight decrease, also cannibalism from the knowledge lets you eat corpes' that you can take after a battle, only downside is they are very heavy.
You actually got 11 leather from the wolves and has someone else suggested, doing the hunts for the ghost pack is really quite easy and definitely worthwhile
Remember the career plans can help you get more +'s on stats
A pack of bears with the ability to administer first aid seems terrifying, tbh.

Hi Indrid. Sandstone is used to craft a trinket called "The Sharp Fang." You buy the schematic for it at the trackers' camp.
Don't forget to save some wheat for the stables to get that black horse.

You should build youre camp complete new ! Companions need to sleep/eat/doing jobs as near to each other as possible. If you get bounding points, the bonus only reach member near(!) to that person. You should also place a human right beside a bear. For each bear with a human by his side, you get 1 bravery point after resting.
