Warrnambool has ‘the best coastline’ that Australia has to offer

Warrnambool is home to Australia’s richest collection of nautical artifacts and one of the country’s most significant maritime museums.

A local resident told Sky News Australia, “my message is to get down here and experience the best coastline that Australia has to offer, it’s spectacular, it’s got history and you can come jump on board and tour with the locals.”

  1. A little windy for my liking. But it would make a great spot for the world's largest offshore wind farm, considering the nearby grid capabilities (Portland smelter and Anglelsea plant) are already in place. The tourism potential would far exceed that of a few old, constantly crumbling sand cliffs.

  2. Some countries would be beside themselves to see and have what we have here in Australia. Just think if we could agree, by all governments to make this a tourists paradise. It just needs funding.
